Forgive me for not updating my journal recently. I have been performing a series of octopus dissection experiments which have kept me occupied for the past few weeks.

The black Drome that hatched from the egg has been growing at a fascinating rate. As of now, it appears fairly affectionate and I am beginning to wonder if some sort of imprinting has taken place. Only time will tell...
