Dordogne, France
Our wake-up call didn't come, but we still managed to get on the bus on time.
Breakfast: Same as usual.
Drove to an old medieval part of Dordogne and saw lots of old buildings. Went into a church that was built in like the 14th century and saw a black statue of the Virgin Mary. It's black because so many people have touched it and burned candles for it over the centuries.
Then went shopping. Bought lots of stuff but didn't spend a crazy amount of money. List of stuff I got:
-2 sentimental magnets for my parents
-Wind-chime for Kristen
-Key chains for Sam and Myself
-Scented soap for my parents
-Necklace with my name in French on it
-pair of earrings
-cheapo wrist watch (mine doesn't work after I took it in the pool )
Next we ate lunch at a small cafe.
Lunch: -"Plate du Jour:" steak and french fries heart blaugh heart blaugh
-Ice cream
Next a 1 and a half hour long bus ride to the Gouffre de Padirac: A really big, dark, cold, wet, cave. It was sooo cool though! Lots of pretty rock formations and lakes and in some places the ceiling dripped water on us, which I thought was cool but some of the girls didn't like it.
After that we drove one hour back to the hotel and swam in the pool until dinnertime.
Dinner at another small restaurant.
Dinner: -weird watery soup
-Duck leg w/ seasoned potatoey-egg mix 4laugh
-Goat cheese on Bread xp
-Chocolate brownie w/ white chocolate drizzle blaugh heart heart
Went back to the hotel but had to turn in early. Got a big long trip ahead of us tomorrow. So tired... rofl
