Just some random notes-to-self and characters I've created and feel the need to share. Indulge me; all will be explained.
Oh, and a note: all these guys are copyright to me, as they are all characters in my novel, which is posted on fictionpress.com. Steal them and you will be severly maimed. Just thought I'd warn you.
*~*~*
Mithura of Dhanus, the youngest of three on the Dhanus Homestead plantation, is a shapeshifter, a gift passed through her family from the Celtic legend, Morgana Le Fey. At her first appearance, she is 16 years old, and a messenger, scout, and sometime assassain for Queen Shiva the Destoryer. Though her family has ruled over Dhanus for centuries, she considers the Kingdom of the Destroyer her true home. Her mother, Tula, lived on Dhanus, while her father, Gabriel, was from the neighboring Ojas Gardens. She has one brother, Zayn, who was once a strapping lad of twenty-one, but now lives life as a lemur (a curse placed on him by King Raghnall), and one sister, Johanna, who is a married mother of two at the age of twenty-six, and who also calls the Kingdom home.
Hailing from Soul's Haven, a tiny village by the sea, is Aaron Eitan, the son of Thomas and Kathleen Eitan, local inn owners. He is an only child, 17 at first appearance, and a relatively new werewolf.
Mithura and Aaron are married when he is 19 and she 18, and two years later, they are blessed with twins, Benjamin and Iphigenia. They live in the Kingdom of the Destoryer, both parents still proud members of the army, Disciples of the Vedic Trinity, and the children receiving the best education available. When Iphigenia was 18, she left home for the northern seaside port of Kismet, a prosperous and peaceful town. However, the town hides a dark secret, and Iphigenia delves into the dark world of witchcraft, a practice that has helped Kismet stay afloat from the start. The humans of the town, who turned a blind eye to the sorcery for centuries, suddenly realize what is at stake, and kill all the witches and warlocks in the city, Iphigenia included. Kismet fails, and the remaining populace flees.
Months earlier, Benjamin had traveled to Kismet to visit his sister, warning her against joining the legended Coven of Kismet. After her death, he travels the continent, grieving her in taverns across the land. He eventually ends up in the Angel capital, where he meets future wife, Angel Skye Rosethorn.
Skye has her own past. She is pale-skinned, with blonde-white hair and sky blue eyes, taking after her mother in that respect, and all involved are glad for that. Years ago, her great-great-great grandmother married a Dark Angel, marring the Rosethorn bloodline. But the Dark Angel renounced his family and his clan, taking his new wife's name as his own. The bloodline was just recently forgiven for its past "misdeeds."
Aurora Amelie, the epitomy of Angelic goodness, fell in love with Erich Rosethorn, whose dark-coloring singles him out, despite the betterment of his family name by the Seers. Skye is their only child.
Skye Rosethorn elopes with Benjamin Eitan, and the couple move far to the south to escape both of their families and their twisted histories. The Angel elders and gossips are left shaking their heads, muttering that its the "Dark Angel blood" running in her veins that made her run off.
*~*~*
Amadahy, an ever-optimistic, bubbly Puddle Maiden, is of the ruling Dalit Clan, headed by Aquarius and his wife Cascada. Amadahy is 266 years of age, though she appears to be about 18 or 19, and a direct descendant of Poseidon himself. Through the course of her adventures, she meets and falls in love with a dashing dragon, Xenon.
The happy couple live in a cottage by the sea, where they are blessed with three children. The eldest, a girl named Mist, has her mother's pale blue hair and navy eyes, plus gray-blue scales across her hands and wrists and dark blue dragon's wings. Mist loves to travel, mostly for the chance to learn and fight. The middle child, Troy, is a bit of a loudmouth, very out-going and always lusting for a new adventure. He resembles his older sister to a tee, except in the gaze: his eyes are his father's icy blue. Last, but not least, is Callia. The youngest child has brown hair with dark blue streaks and dark blue eyes, and though she is posses no obvious dragon characterisitics, her skin is tough as granite. Callia is the "wild child" of the family, often running off to the non-magic continents (as she is the most "human-looking" of her siblings) to have a good time in clubs and bars across the world.

I like the way this turned out. I think I'll be updating this shortly, with further information on my characters. Believe me, there's plenty to work out.
