Eeeeeee! *bounces up and down* Eeeeeeeeeee! My cheeks hurt from smiling too much. ^____^ *jumps around some more and punches fists into the air* I can't believe it. EEEEEEEEEEEE!
OK, now that's out of my system. ^^; Eeeee! OK, maybe not. whee If I ever was a fangirl, I'd be one now. Except what I'm happy about happened in real life. xd *dances* This warrants an entry in my real journal as well. ninja
...And I'm not going to write much about it in this entry. sweatdrop The reason is that I need a scanner, and I don't have one now. I think my roommate does, but she's not here at the moment, so it will have to wait. So, at the risk of making my future entry anti-climatic, I'll leave it at this: I met one of my heroes today and was honoured to do so. 3nodding
Gaian News
...Should it be "Gaia News" instead of "Gaian News"? *ponders* No, I don't think so. Since I'm using "Gaian" as an adjective. Ehh...I'm rambling.
I made that awhile ago, but never posted it here. sweatdrop It links to, obviously, Picc's Haibane Halo Quest. I've been a supporter since April or so. I found his quest when I was lurking the GEN and looking at the essay titles. I saw one called "Of Halos and Haibane" and went eek . I'm a big fan of Haibane Renmei. heart It's about a girl, Rakka, the newest Haibane in Old Home. Haibane are human-creatures with charcoal grey wings on their backs and halos on their head. They do not, however, have any sort of angelic powers. In fact, they are sort of treated as novelties by the humans in the town they live in. It's a drama, so it is very heavy on symbolism. I've seen some episodes of "Kino's Journey", and that anime reminds me a lot of Haibane. So, if you like "Kino's Journey", you'd probably like "Haibane Renmei" and vice versa. whee And if you've seen neither, you should still check out Haibane Renmei. 4laugh
I digress. sweatdrop So Picc is too nice to me and made me a lot of free art. Like the one in my current signature. So I thought I'd advertise in my Journal to repay his kindness. 3nodding Oh, wait...that sounds sort of crass. It makes me sound like a corporate sponsor or something. ^^; Umm...look at my banner! Isn't it nice? >_> I tried to make it look like a photograph, because I love the expression on all of their faces. whee Great...now I sound like I'm bragging. xp It's my first try at a banner, so it's rather amateurish, but it was fun to do.
Quote of the Day
George W. Bush There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee...that says, fool me once, shame on...shame on you. Fool me... you can't get fooled again. He was wrong. xp Shaaaame! gonk
I've never stayed up this late before in years, but I took a three hour nap today, so I'm not tired yet. <_< I can think of what else to say. Excuse me while I start writing in my real journal. That I haven't written in 2 months. xd
