Just thinking....
If the world is such a horrible place to be, and we all know it is, I mean, it's not like we don't hear it on the news everyday as our parents try to go on like nothings happened. But if it's so bad, then why do we keep bringing more and more people into it. It's not like we don't have a way of preventing it. Is it because people are afraid to face the truth that something could really be wrong with the world? The it may be wrong to have children just to bring them into such a place of hate and destruction? I'm, of course, not saying that the whole world and all people are cruel and not something I would want my future child to be exposed to, but all the same, it's complicated on how I would handle such a situation if I faced it. Would I protect my child at all cost as mothers are so quick to say they would do for their children, but would I be able to make the altiumite sacrifice for my child. Someone I had only known for a sort while and was still getting to know? Or would I leave my child to someone else's problem and have it be their job to raise and care for them as I continued on with my life? Would I just abandon them when they needed me most, not caring that this was my child at all? I know it's sicking to hear the last one mentioned, it bothers me even to right it now, but it is a very real reality and we need to face the fact that it does happen and it will probably continue to happen. What would you choose to do? Option one, two , or three. I know that almost everybody would like to say they would choose the first, no matter what. But that is not always the case. When the time comes for you to make that decision, will it be to hard for you to make? I want to say that I would choose the first, but without a child of mine born, I can not say for certain anything relating to the sort. Still, this brings me back to my original questionings. Would I be able to even bring a child into this life, none-the-less protect it? I guess we'll just have to wait and see when that .....if that day ever comes.
