I wish I might
To have the wish I wish tonight.
I wish upon the brightest star
That maybe one day I'll be yours.
But this wish is wished in vain,
As nothing is the same.
You have changed and I don't know
What your eyes do not show.
Do you know me?
Do you see me?
Do you even care?
Darling, you don't see;
I'm scared.
Secrets hid in your heart,
Tearing your life apart.
Swimming in dark seas,
Way to deep for you to see.
Well baby, I can't take much more;
I can't stand to watch you fall.
So won't you open your clutched fist,
And see a helping hand through the mist.

As my baby falls to dust.
