Twilight: An Unhealthy Obsesstion
ALERT! ALERT! ECLIPSE SPOILERS!!!DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE READING THE TWILIGHT SAGA AND HAVENT FINISHED ECLIPSE!!!Just about every teenage girl i know has read, reread, or heard of the book Twilight By: Stepenie Meyer or something like that. I was planning on reading it around about half way through the ssecond semester of school but i really never got to it... the thought of reading a dictionary long book was not as compelling to me as i thought it would be. So i put it off untill i heard it was EXTREMELY good. i really did have my doubts but on the last day of shcool my bestest white girl friend Jaecey let me borrow her Twilight book. Ohh..now i couldn't put it off. After i read the first two or three chapters i was really getting into it. and by the fith one i was straight up obsessed. Its a 2 1/2 inch book that i finished in three days without hesitation. This scared me but as i read it i found my self up at dangerous hours of the night reading this thing that i wanted to be real.When i was done with the first one i found myself going insanely NUTS! i coldn't stop thinking about the characters and thanks to a short preview of the next book in the back i was left wanting MORE. i went through hell for about a week rereading my favorite parts of the book. It was like having an extremely intense, incredibly great movie put on pause against your will at the most exciting part and ther was nothing you could do but wait... and finally after Summer Camp which i attended with Jaecey we went to her house and she let me borrow the next book in the Twilight series :New Moon which was also extreamely good but i was at my cousins house when i w finished reading it so there was alot to keep me mind off it unlike when i was at home with nothing to do but think about it. But when i fianlly came home(thanks to my Godmam ;see last journal entry for details) summer camp was the next day and Jaecey pleaded for me to come and without hesitaton she traded me the NEXT book in the series for New Moon : Eclipse. It has been about 36 hours and i am more than half way done with it. If i had had the books in my posesstion all at the same time i would have finished thim in less than two weeks. Thats really scary considering the fact the books i usually read were about half the size as these and took about 10 times more time to finish. Three bigger-than-dictionary books i had gone through in less than a month. I surprised my self and it still does at how much im obsessed with the book series everything in it it so perfectly romantic in a way and intense. Everything gets more complicated as the story goes on but i love the suspense and romance. I can't relate at all to the characters and thats what makes it all so charming; the fact that i want to relate to them. i can't stop thinking about the romance between Bella (main character) and Edward (co- main character) and their everlasting bond with eachother and need to be with eachother.Plus she realized shes in love with Jacob (sexy werewolf) too and ends up having to choose of course she chooses edward. The love they share is one that can only be found in corny love movies and AMAZINGLY great romance novels such as these. When i read about it... everything just seems right about it Edward knew he was in love with Bella before she even imagined him as more than just this mysterious angel with the face of and angel and skin white and marble like. Its wierd thinking back to when they were falling in love to now when they are deeply and utterly IN LOVE WITH EACHOTHER!!! It's so nice some one else in this world belives in such a love to bad it had to be between some strange girl and her vampire sweetheart. I actually wouldn't believe the love was as strong if it was any other way. im anxious to see wether Edward will go all the way with bella though. He says she underestimates his self control and that his temptaions are his worst enemy and i m sure he'll wait for mairrage(he has already purposed) but for reasons i dont want to give out. He feels the need to marry her in addation she gets something she wants but he would never allow if it werent for her mingeling. i mean he spends the night with her almost every night and it doesnt surprise me nothings ever happrned between the two of them Edward is very old fashioned and he tells her all the time he doesnt have the perfect self control she believe him to have but she keeps wishing, wanting there to be more as does he. He wishes that they could be closer to her than he already is(if that possible) but thats impossible because of his temptaion to have her blood can over come the temptation of her body. i mean he says the temptaion of her body and blood are equal and i believe that but i dont think she does and i know when he gets started and if hes tempted to much that one can over come another.oh wow im writing too much now arent i okay okay ill stop but i just wanted all the readers to know the bond bteween Bella and Edward, ...and so the lion fell in love with the lamb...
