No goodbyes / for love brightens their eyes. / Don't say Adios, say adios, / and so you know why / there's a love that won't die? / -don't say adios, say adios, goodbye.
This is it. The day, the next hour, we leave this house, four of us, and after ten we will return, three of us. My sister, Lockea, is leaving for college in florida, I live in Washington. My sister, my best friend. I can say goodbye to others without a single tear, but my sister? Sometimes my only friend, in a friendless world? My heart clenches, watching us all stumble around. Can I say goodbye.
I picked this stanza from One by One, by Enya, because it doesn't have the words he or she. It's a love song but, it fits me and my sister. She's aming high and I can't follow, but I can't stand to say goodbye. it's the sisterly love that won't die, that binds us together.
You know, people always said we look alike. People asked us if we were twins. In a way, we are. I just wish we were twins and I was also scientificly inclined, so I could follow. From here on out, I'm one full person, and that scares me. I'm so used to being a half of a person, but at the same time, I'm glad she gets to shake all these ties that she has.
So, Lockea, Lady Locke, and every other (nice) name I've called you in the course of my life,
This isn't goodbye, persay.
This is . . . I'll see you later, as they say in the millitary.
I'll miss you.
Your younger sister,
Kattitina.
