Long, Long Journy (The Returning Of A Hero) |

Long, long journy / out of nowhere, / long, long way to go; / but what are sighs / and what is sadness / to the heart that's coming come?
My hero is back. Kattitina wrote of an injured hero in her entry "Creepy crawlies and Helping my Hero". She wrote of the life of a member ofthe hero's family in "A Hero's Family's Wait". Our hero's are one in the same. Our dad. Maybe she didn't say that her hero left to Iraq, no, she didn't. I know she didn't. I am her. But he did, seven months ago. And her (our) life just moved on, almost as if normal.
The greatest part about leaving, is coming home. There is no sadness when a heart is heading home. There are sighs of frustration when everything is pushed back. But no big sighs of sadness. He came out of the nowhere that is Iraq, and he's home. Oh joy, he's home. It took so long for him to get here, but he's home. We will rejoice that he is home from such a place, and be glad he is back.
I imaigen that we will hang halloween decorations and take care of the house now, once we are all rested and we are free with our time.
Days will pass, your words to me. / it seems so long; eternity, / but I must wait until it's over.
This discribes more so the leaving of a hero, or just anyone. They say something before they leave, a quick good bye, a spech on helping the hero that stays home, and they are gone for so long. Three months, six months, sometimes maybe even a year. Like in a Kattitina's second Hero entry we don't wait, but, it's not clear what we do. We wait in a different way, moving on but thinking. So that's what I did. But I don't have to. It's over. I've waited long enough.
No goodbyes / for love brightens their eyes. / Don't say Adios, say Adios, / and do you know why / there's a love that won't die? / - don't say Adios, say Adios, Goodbye My mother and father, my hero that stays and my hero that leaves. They have this love, and there enver truely say goodbye because they always know they will meet again. I know why there is a love that won't die. Because they don't say goodbye. They don't say Adios, and now they are reunited.
My father has returned.
