My hopes crushed,
My hearts broken.
MY life's spiraling,
My dreams forgotten.
I'm told to forget,
I'm told to move on.
But where do I go from here,
Where is safe?
The glass pieces of my heart,
scattered on the floor.
My fingers cut,
As I try to pick them up.
Patching it back together,
Causes even more pain.
Since it only a matter of time,
Before he breaks it again.
Its like an endless circle,
It never seems to stop.
Why can't I be happy,
Just this once?
