I write to heal my pain,

I hurt to fuel my writing.

I try to go on with out you,

but we both know I'm lying.

I wonder what its like,

to be safe in your arms.

I wonder what your doing,

when we're far apart.

I love the way you smile,

and they way you get all shy.

When nothings going write,

you always take me high.

All I need is one word,

to brighten up my smile.

Even with your preppy look,

and collared shirt style.

We may be un-alike,

but that shouldn't stop us.

We could be so very much,

If you'd just let us.
