When I awoke I was in a dazed state to say the least. My body was aching from under use and age. Although, it was hardly aged at all,still the thirteen year old body that was there before I took that horrible nap....
My name is Rii Kyushii. Now,your probably wondering how and why I was asleep for over one-hundred years. Well,the reason how is because I live in a family of sorcerers,and they know a spell that can enable it. The reason why ,unfortunately, is very bad. My family is considered royalty among us vampires,so of course I was to wed someone of royalty much like myself. My husband had to be of equal status too. But no,my parents wanted my husband to be from the same blood.And i'm not a fan of arranged marriges so I had to find a way out of this. Another disgusting thing they wanted was for me to marry a boy. It's not like I have anything against those sort of relationships,i've even had a couple of boyfriends. But I wondered;didn't my parents want me to have an heir? So I asked them, but all they did was smirk,so of course they had to give me an answer. They told me that my sister was to wed one of her suitors soon,and I asked them what that had to do with this. And of course they ignored my question completly. They told me that she would have to bear a child within atleast two years,and I asked what it had to do with my heir. They said it did not matter if the child would be a boy or a girl,it just had to be suitible enough to be my child. It had to have the kind of innocence that baby vampires had when they are first born and are raised without their real parents. Then it all started to sink in..... I wasn't going to produce an heir,my older sister was going to for me! I thought of how wrong it would be to take one of my sister's children from her just so I could keep the clan from being 'soiled'. The clan only had one other female in it besides my mother in it;my sister. So that's why I was being forced to marry a man. I refused to marry my sister and they wouldn't let me marry a women who was outside of the family. So it all led to this? My family is very corrupted.....
