Chapter 4 A Wearwolf's tale

"Karn!Dinner!"Yelled his mother to an eight year old Karn.
"Okay Mother!"Karn answered and started down the stairs.He walked into the dinning room and sat at the table.
"Karn have you been growing again?"said someone behind him."
"Dad! You'r back!" Karn yiped leaping into his father's arms.
"And I'm here to stay."
"Wealcome home hun.." His mother's words were cut short by the front door crashing open and a large wolf walked in on two legs.
"A werewolf!" His mother yelled and grabed Karn who was shivering.
"Get my gun!" Karn grabbed the riffle on the wall and tossed it to his father.He loaded it and shot.The wolf jumped at him just in time to get shot in the heart, and under him was the lifeless body of Karn's father.
"Dad!"Karn yelled
"James!"Yelled his mother and they both ran tward him.As they shoved the wolf off of him he jumped out. Karn pushed his mother out of the way and got bitten.He rolled away and clung to his wound.
"Karn!"yelled his poor mother who ran toward him but then James jumped toward her and nearly got to her but little Karn leaped on to his father, dug his teeth into his fathers neck and ripped his throat out. Within minutes James lay dead on the floor.Karn stepped away from his father and looked at his blood coverd hands and stared at his mother.
"Kill me mother... Kill m......."He begged but then he started to morph. his mother reached for the gun but the fully transformed Karn stepped on the barrel and crushed it.She ran into the living room and turned around just as Karn leaped on to her and bit off her head. Karn looked at the headless body under him. He realised that it was him who murdured his family and he howled to the moon with tears flowing from his eyes and staining his grey fur.
He ran out of the house and kept on running people started to chase him with pichforks and torches.He ran in to the forest and the hunters gave up.He still ran and ran and ran. An hour latter the sun had risen and he had gone back to his human self and still he ran. He ran until he couldn't.He slowed to a stop and collapsed under a large tree.The rain was falling hard and he knew that he would die out there.Then ther was a rustle in the bushes and a man with long seafoam hair and sea green eyes steped out.
"Hello I'm Hender what's you're name?" said the man.
"Ka..Karn." He answered.
"There was quite a mess in the town."
"It was me.I'm a werewolf."
"Is that so?"
"please kill me. I don't want to kill others.I already killed my parents." Hender just smiled and went over to Karn and knelt next to him.
"No I won't kill you.I'll help you control it come to my house in the middle of the forest."
"Okay."

Chapter 5 Hunter becomes the hunted.

Jesse quietly creeped up to the cave and looked in side.The coffin was kept in a dark corner with the sleeping vampire Landers inside.He walked over to the coffin with a wooden stake in his hand.He gentlely opened the lid to see the inside was empty.
"I knew you would come!" Came the voice of Landers .Jesse turned around quickly knowing never to let a vampire behind you.
"You killed my parents."Jess hissed,"I came to return the favor."Landers laughed and stared at him with his crimson eyes.
"Is that so?Well then lets get started!" He unfurled his demonic wings and lunged at Jesse and started to rip at him.Jessy shoved him off and ran toward the wooden stake that he dropped but Landers dug his fangs into Jesse's neck.Jesse yelled in pain and he knew he was going to die.Then Landers was thrown off of him and hit the wall. The little boy knelt next to Jesse and started to treat his wounds.
Landers came flying back at them with sheer anger and just before he reached them a tall man with long hair jumped in front of him and pushed him back.They fought for what felt like forever then finally the vampire was thrown onto the wall and fell to the ground unconcious.
"Are you Okay?"He asked Jesse.
"Yea."He answerd in a husky voice.
"No you're not!"Said the little boy."You have absolutely no pulse!"
"What?"Jesse checked it on himself and the boy was right.No pulse."Oh my god!"
"The venom of a vampire. You're now one of them."Said the man.He knelt next to Jesse and patted his back."I'm Hender and this is Karn were like you. Karn is a werewolf and I'm a dragon. Come with us and we can protect you."
"Really?"
"Really."
"Alright I'll go."
"Okay then."
"Another member to the team of freaks."Karn said as they left the cave careful not to get Jesse in the sun.They laughed until they were gone.

Chapter 6 The Demon Sidesow Freak.

"Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the show!!"Said the big anouncer to the crowd.
"Hey guys here are our seats!"Hender yelled to Karn and Jesse. They took ther seats and watched the show.
"I am Dave your announcer!"The big man continued."Now!Our first act can be dangerous.And I warn you do not look into this creatures eyes.This is a miracle that we have him.Try not to get frightened.welcome Satin's Child."At those words a cage was rolled in with a young boy inside. The man held up a cross for every one to see and pressed it to the boy's skin.There was a sizzling sound and the boy yelled in pain.The cross was burning his flesh. Then the boy reached for the ring master who had ran out of reach.Suddenly the boy's eyes turned to a glowing red,Markings appeared on his body,and two black horns grew from his forehead.The boy grabbed the bars of his cage and they melted like wax.He stepped out of the cage and stared at the man.
"Die."He said in sort of a hiss and held out his hand. Everyone waited to see what hapened then a black fire started to errupt from his upper arm and moved to his hand and within a second the ring master was covered in shadow and dead.
People came running in from the side of the stage and surrounded him holding crosses and bottles of holy water.Then they moved in to kill him.
"Stop!!" Hender yelled standing in his chair.Then he leapt over about three hundred people to the stage. Once he landed by the boy he transformed into a large,seagreen dragon."Get on!" The boy slid onto his back and he flew up to Karn,who leaped about twenty feet into the air to get on his back,and Jesse who flew up with his batlike wings.And then Hender flew up toward the top of the tent.Jesse, Karn, and the boy all ducked as he flew out of the top and into the night.
"Thank you."Said the boy with tears running down out of the eyes that have turned back to black and down his face that the marks had covered.
"What's you're name son?"Hender asked.
"Zeth."
"Well Zeth you're welcome.I'm Hender."
"Hey,I'm Jesse."
"And I'm Karn."
"Thank you all. Thank you very very much."


Chapter 7 Secret dreams

"Oh." I said.I had no words for what I just found out.
"Yea."Hender agreed. ,"Well that's what happened."
"Well what about you?"I asked him.,"What about your past?"
"Later! come on Karn lets get you settled."Karn and Hender left me a little shooken from the yell.
"Don't"Zeth said suddenly making me jump."He never talks about his past. Not even to Karn and they've known each other for ten years."
"Yea."Jessy cut in."Tell me, do you think that Karn's, Zeth's, and my past were horibble?"
"Yes. Yes I do."
"Well we think his must have been worse."
Karn was gone the rest of the night but Hender came back in about an hour with a large cut on his arm his shirt shredded and blood all over him.
"What happend?" I asked alarmed.
"Oh,Karn transformed before I got him to his cage." He answered then went over to the trash-can and spat blood into it.
"So that's what the noise was."Jesse said."Get over here and sit so I can treat your wounds." He got up and left the room then came back with the medical supplies.
"It sucks being the only one who can't heal instantly."Hender said sitting down.
"Are you Okay?"I asked worried.
"Yea."
"You nead anything?"
"Ice would be nice."
"Hey that rhymed."
"Okay love birds that's enough."Jesse said as we were laughing,"Marrion the ice is in the icebox and the bag is in the lower cupboard to the right would you please get some?"
"Sure." I went and I got the ice.
"Thanks."Hender said putting the ice on his head. "Marrion I think it's time you,Zeth,and I go to bed."
"Okay."I answered.
"Yea." Zeth agreed yawning.
"Marrion."
"Yea Jesse?"
"You won't see me in the day time ,you know being a vampire."
"What do you do all night?"
"I usually fly out in the forest but on a full moon usually Hender or I take watch after Karn, and with Hender being hurt it's my turn."
"Oh okay. goodnight."
Zeth led me to my room and left.I lay in bed for hours and occasionaly heard the howl of Karn ,but eventually I fell asleep. I had a strange dream.I was walking in a large chinese style house that was surrounded by sakura trees.As I turned a corner I came upon a person with seafoam colored hair who was washing the floor. The person tensed and spun around to face me.
"Marrion?"said a wide eyed Hender. I gasped at seeing him.
"Hender?"
"Marrion what are you doing hear?"He asked grabbing my shoulders.
"I..I'm dreaming."
"Well you have to leave.It's dangerous.If they catch you...."He stopped and listened. Then he opened the door next to me and shoved me in."Stay here and be quiet."He shut the door and I listened.
"Hender."Said a low, strict voice.
"Hello Master."
Master?What the heck? I thought to myself and kept on listening.
"Almost done with your chores?"
"Yes sir. Oh sir please don't enter that room I haven't cleaned it yet."
Lier. The room was spotless.
"And why not?" said the voice with a hint of anger.
"I've been working out here sir."
"Why do you clean the outside before the inside?"
"Well uh." I herd a loud crash and what sounded like the splash of water.
"Get in there and clean that room! Then come out and rewash the floor!"
"Yes sir." I heard foot steps leave and then the door opened and a soaking wet Hender walked in.
"Are you Okay?"
"Yea."
"Hender what is going on?"
"You see when a dragon dreames it becomes real to them. And usually we dream of our past."
"You mean this is your past?"
"A long time ago dragons were used as slaves. I had a master who was very cruel. All of his human slaves died within a week so he got a dragon. I served him about Three thousand years and I came close to death."
"Three thousand?"
"Yes he was also a dragon but a free one.Well one year there was a law passed against dragon slavery and I was set free. But I had no where to live and I was weak. I was nearly killed by a panther but after my little fight I had some food. I learned to hunt and fight, once I got strong enough I flew to this forest and built the house."
"Why haven't you told the others?"
"The memories are too painful, and I was scared of them either laughing at me or giving me pity. Please don't tell them."
"Okay."Then Time seemed to warp and before I knew anything I was launched into different dreams untill morning.
