Part 20
Quickly Kitko rounded up the people and soon they were hard at work clearing rubble and digging graves for those brave warriors who lost their lives. “That human… how dare she interfere with our plans. I say we show her why we are the toughest thieves in the land.” one bandits growled.
“But Master Chimaru did not give us the orders to attack another village.” another grumbled.
“Who says we have to attack the village?” the first said with an evil grin. “All we have to do is take her. The master always said that if we wanted to take any wench we could.”
“Yes… that is very true. Then that little witch can become ours? We’ve needed a new toy since the other one killed herself.” the second bandit replied.
“OW!” A little kid fell down and broke his arm.
“It’s ok… hold still.” Kitko said bending by his side.
“It hurts.” the boy whimpered. Kitko took an ace-bandage from out of her sling-shot ammo bag and gently wrapped up the boys arm. She made a sling out of some old rags that were on the ground and put the boys arm in it.
“There. Now you have to rest your arm ok. Why don’t you go play with the other kids?” Kitko nudged the boy towards the other kids and he ran to play.
“You would make an excellent mother someday.” one woman said.
“Thanks, but that someday is no time soon.” Kitko laughed.
“Let’s get her. And then we have our brand new toy to play with.” the first bandit said getting on his horse.
“I’m having second thoughts about this. If we go in and attack Chimaru will be furious.” the second bandit said.
“We could just play with the villagers. Rough them up a bit and then get what we want. Or… we could ride in, get the girl for our collection and move on.”
“Let’s just get the wench.” The two bandits rode into the wrecked village yelling and howling.
“They’re back!” one man shouted.
“I got it this time.” Kitko grabbed her sling-shot and grabbed her slime ball bomb. “EAT THIS!” Kitko fired the slime ball and it exploded behind the men. They flung off their horses and rapidly shot arrows at Kitko. Kitko dodged all but one arrow that struck her arm. She yanked the arrow out of her right arm and shot silver marbles at the bandits. The silver marble burned the skin of the bandits. Quickly she changed to her fire shots and the flames singed their body. The two bandits ran away yipping. “AND STAY OUT!” The townspeople shouted with joy and praised Kitko for her fine work in chasing away the bandits.
Count Diago and Keto dodged all of Sandina’s lightning bolts and weren’t able to get close enough to stop her. “Father, what are we going to do? She’s on a rampage and we can’t get close enough for an attack.”
“Don’t worry Keto. I have a plan. I called my older brother and as soon as he shows up the girl will be on her hands and knees, begging for mercy.” Count Diago said dodging a lightning ball.
“Father… Uncle Von is deadlier than you. What if he turns on us?!” Keto said stepping away from his father.
“We’ll have to take that chance. Von maybe a hard-a** but he has dealt with people like this little snack. After all… he’s the one who created the lightning experiment in the first place.”
Von came through the library door and smirked with evil delight when he saw Sandina. “Its nice to see my little girl is doing well.”
“Your little girl?!” Count Diago shouted.
“Oh yes. She’s my little experiment.” Sandina shot lightning bolts at Von but he grabbed the bolt and it disappeared in his hand. “Though I have to admit. She’s come a long way since I injected her.” Von walked Sandina and Sandina jumped back throwing dozens of lightning balls. Von stopped them all with ease. He had her backed up against a bookshelf and Sandina felt like her heart was in her throat. The devilish look in his eyes had Sandina shaking. “It’s good to see you my great granddaughter.” Sandina tucked and rolled away from Von. “I see you remember me.”
“STAY AWAY FROM ME!” Sandina’s voice was full of fear and her body trembled with every step Von took towards her.
“Just because your foolish parents and grandparents prevented my injections in them doesn’t mean you have to run too. I could make you even stronger now. The blood of the vampire has grown stronger in you as I knew it would if you were to come in contact with us.”
“S-stay back!” Sandina fell back and was frantically pushing herself away from him.
“It’s like Sandina has no fear of us, but all her fear lied with Uncle Von. What did he do to her to scare her so badly?” Keto wondered.
“Well Von if you got this under control. I have guests to attend to.” Count Diago turned around.
“Not so fast little brother. You couldn’t handle the simplest task of taking her and making sure she got into my machine. I say you’ve failed miserably. Your usefulness has ended.”
“Nice try Von. But you’re not the only one who built that machine. You cannot operate it without me.”
“Try again Diago.” Von took out a pistol, with wooden stakes shoved inside of it, from his black leather trench coat. Keto was struck with fear. “You’re finished.” Von shot Count Diago in his heart and Count Diago was slowly incinerated before their eyes. “I should’ve done that a long time ago.” Keto fell to his knees and stared at his father’s ashes. “Now boy, it’s your turn. The weakest son has no place among vampires.” Von aimed the gun for Keto and Keto flew up into the air. Sandina seized the moment and shot Von with a lightning bolt. The lightning struck his chest and went right through him. Sandina could see the other side of the room through the whole in his chest. “Naughty little girl.” The whole in Von’s chest completely healed and his clothes sealed themselves.
Part 21
Von grabbed Sandina’s jacket and put the pistol to her head. “I could always make another one just like you. I have no problem waiting for another few years. After all, I have an eternity.” Keto bit down on Von’s neck and Von turned to see him. “Do you really think you’ll be able to defeat me with those little fangs?”
“I will not let you hurt the woman I love.” Keto hissed.
Von remembered the human woman he fell in love with. “The boy has the same look I did when I met Elizabeth. He would die if that meant he could have her.” Von thought. “I see you aren’t completely useless after all little Keto.” Von threw Keto to the ground and tossed Sandina aside. “I have use for you. You are to make a new breed; a breed much stronger than any ever seen before. With this little experiment of mine the vampire blood and her lightning blood will be the ultimate weapon; all the strengths of our combine power. I would mate with her myself, but I have a prior commitment to Count Diago’s wife…. Or should I say widow?”
“You and my mother have been…” Keto was shocked.
“Oh yes. If fact. Odds are you’re my child. How ironic if my great granddaughter and my son were to be my own little breeding pen. Although Nichu is stronger than you, I have to say he’s Count Diago’s brat and I do not want anymore of his blood mixed into this plan. Countess Diago is waiting for me I must leave. She and I have much to catch up on.” Von gave a smug, evil grin. Then he turned to Sandina. Sandina had transformed back into a human and was trying her best to stand. The tremendous pain she couldn’t take much longer. Von put his finger under her chin and raised her up with ease. “Now you be a good little breeder and do exactly what I created you for. Or next time… this pistol will go inside of your mouth.” Von dropped Sandina onto the marble floor and vanished.
Keto smiled and brushed himself off. “That is the best vampire in the world. If he’s my real father what an honor. And he sure gets what he wants. I have to say… he has shown me the light with you Sandina. If I want you… I take you for my own.” Sandina reached into her pocket and grabbed a small bag of garlic powder.
“I will not…. No matter what… become someone’s sex slave!” Sandina threw the garlic powder into the air and Keto hissed as he jumped back. Sandina fought all the pain and dashed out of the castle. Keto followed her enraged about what she had done. With all of her might, Sandina ran into the dark, gloomy forest.
“GO! FIND HER!” Keto shouted. Bats soared out of the castle windows, werewolves were hot on her trail, slime monsters, mummies, phoenixes followed whatever scent she left behind. Her blood trail was heavy, but she stayed on step ahead of them. She wasn’t going to go down. She would rather die. Quickly and as quietly as possible she escaped into the night.
“Master Chimaru, what do you want to do with this little kid anyway? The b***h keeps trying to get out of her cage.” one bandit growled. Chimaru took out his gun and shot the bandit directly in the forehead. His blood splattered on Chikaru’s cage. The bandit fell to the ground dead.
“Do not speak of my daughter that way, even if she’s a half-breed.” Chikaru had a rag gag in her mouth and ropes were tied tightly holding her hands behind her back. Her legs we’re in shackles and her ankles and wrists dripping with blood from her struggles. Chimaru brushed Chikaru’s hair out of her face. “You know my little daughter, it has been such a long times since I’ve truly stopped to look at you. It’s amazing how you look so much like your mother. You have her eyes and a lot of her personality. Even though the love of my life is dead, I will always have you to remind me of her.”
Chikaru shook her head trying to shake Chimaru’s hand away. “This jerk better keep his hands off of me.” Chikaru thought.
“Once I am a full werewolf… you will be my first prey Chikaru. I promise, as long as you do not fight, I will make the transformation swift.”
Chikaru’s eyes filled with pain and sorrow as she gazed upon her father with disgust and hatred. Her entire life was kept away from her father because of everything he had done to her family. Now she was in his grasp and doesn’t have the strength to fight back. She always knew that someday she would have to face her father, but the fear and sorrow it would cause her would be too much to bear. In her mind she wanted to destroy her father for the murder of her family, but in her heart she knew that she could never bring herself to kill her own father. In the past she ran. She ran as far as she could to be safe from her father and the dread of having to kill him.
Tears welded up in Chikaru’s eyes when she saw her father feasting with his band of thieves on human flesh. The bodies of young men, women and children laid scattered on bloody platters; each bandits taking and ripping the bodies apart. Her heart and eyes couldn’t bear it anymore. She wanted to run, but the shackles held her to a rock. Sorrowfully she turned her gaze away, but the images were scared into her memory. Every moment her eyes were shut she could see their faces.
A woman was dragged by her hair into the den, kicking and screaming. Chikaru saw the woman and fought to get free. “Hey boss… Look what we found wandering around our forest at night.” The bandit threw the crying, scared woman at Chimaru’s feet. Her clothes were torn from her struggle with the bandits. “What do you want us to do with her? We could add her to our feast.”
“Please spare my life. I swear I did nothing wrong ever against a werewolf. Please spare me.” The woman pleaded for her life bowing at Chimaru’s feet.
“Shem…” Chimaru called a gruesome man forward. “I know how you’ve wanted a new plaything. I want you to take this woman to the back hut and teach her why no one encroaches on our territory and doesn’t get punished for it. But do remember don’t kill this one too quickly. She has to last for a few days.” Shem dragged the woman to the back hut and threw her inside. You could hear her loud screams echo throughout the area.
Chikaru got the gag out of her mouth and shouted, “YOU MONSTER!”
“A monster am I? I could have just had her killed. But I’m allowing her a great honor. I’m letting her sleep with one of my men; giving her a chance to really live.”
“You sick, perverted, BAST...”
“I do not care. For soon you will be one of us. And to make sure that you produce healthy pups you will be given to Shaun. My second in command and the best warrior I’ve ever had. But until then, enjoy your time as a human.” Shaun stepped out to where he could be seen. He was the most handsome bandit, but the deadliest. “Shaun, since she’s soon going to be your woman, go ahead, and do what you wish with her. I’ve decided until she becomes a werewolf she does not belong to me.” Shaun smirked evilly and walked towards Chikaru. Chikaru’s heart began to race. What was going to happen to her?!
