Yay for Monday! The day my school has early out!
My dad's in China with his company, so it's just Mom and all the kids that aren't in college yet. We've been having fun. We have waffles for breakfast on weekend mornings heart . I've been taking advantage of the nice weather. Last Saturday morning the outdoors was so enticing and it wasn't too hot yet, and not that many cars were out, so I had... an ADVENTURE of a bike ride. I'm not kidding. Some of the surrounding streets have these big hills with wonderful views and the cool wind is rushing in your face when you go down.... and another part of the neighborhood has these big trees lining the streets. It's so...scenic!! I think it's just a pity that I can't take advantage of the cool mornings during the week because of school. Good thing the school year is nearly over. I have an unexcused absence to make up.
Last Saturday night my mom and little sisters were discussing fond childhood memories. When I was little and we lived in a different house, one of my favorite pasttimes was to get into a mummy bag and crawl around like a caterpillar and I couldn't see. (my little brother's friend is pestering me to put moles on the screen as I write this (by 'moles' he means domo-kun) so here you go, Garrett: domokun domokun domokun domokun domokun domokun ) I would also slide down the stairs in a mummy bag. (Garrett: Fill the whole screen up with moles! Seventeen more moles! Me: Well, TOO BAD!!!!) I would throw a blanket over my head and go up to my mom pretending to be a ghost. I would observe the veins on the underside of my tongue.
And then, when I was just a three-year old, I don't remember myself, but Mom says I had a lot of nightmares. (Garrett: all of a sudden write "I LIKE MOLES!!! Me: agrees to appease Garrett after typing my fond childhood memories. Leave me alone, Garrett. I poke him into submission) One of the most memorable nightmares was the carpet fish.
According to my mom, one night I woke up screaming in the middle of the night and mom tried to take me to the rocking chair but when I got close to the carpet I screamed like I was gonna die. I was afraid that there were fish under the carpet that were going to eat me. But you know how Mom calmed me down? She told me that she had this rule: "No fish in mama's house." Me: "...no fish mama's house." And then I was perfectly calm and went right to sleep. My mom thinks: Wow, this little girl thinks I have some power. She thinks I can just make a rule and the fish will go away.
And now, for Garrett: biggrin domokun smile domokun redface domokun domokun stare domokun xd domokun 3nodding domokun blaugh domokun gonk surprised scream stressed domokun sweatdrop domokun heart domokun xp domokun whee domokun wink domokun sad domokun surprised domokun eek domokun confused domokun cool domokun lol domokun mad domokun razz domokun cry domokun evil domokun twisted domokun rolleyes domokun exclaim domokun question domokun idea domokun arrow domokun neutral domokun mrgreen domokun ninja domokun 4laugh domokun rofl domokun pirate domokun talk2hand domokun burning_eyes domokun cheese_whine domokun dramallama domokun wahmbulance domokun emo surprised domokun domokun domokun domokun ninja ninja ninja surprised domokun domokun domokun domokun domokun

Johnny K. Gambino looks kind of like a blond Ganondorf. Has anyone else noticed?
