You and I
Would always dance in the rain.
Your hands in mine,
I never felt the chill,
I ignored the wet.
Your hair dripping, plastered to your forehead.
You were so childish,
Your laugh booming along
With the thunder.
The flash in your eyes
Mimicking the lightning,
Blazing as we spun
I htought this would last,
But like the storm it passes.
You grew distant,
No more thunder laughs,
No more lightning yes.
No more dancing in the rain.
Now I spin alone,
My tears imitating the drizzle.
And for the first time
In a long time,
I felt the cold.
