Sakura Hopes - 28 of April
The sakura was gone today. So was Mello.
Pink perfect hearts. Not the flower you would first guess as my favorit. But there is something special about them. How they ever so slowly fall from the branches, decending down. How the little bunches fit in no where, but on the tree. You can not cage them up in a vase. The petals are ever to daint for that.
But for me, Sakura represents hope.
And today the last petals fell from the safety of the branches and met the concrete, only to be stampled on by hundreds of feet.
Then, hidden among the leaves, the real last flower showed. And it refused to give in to the wind that had stripped down the rest of the tree of its flowers. It stayed there, all summer. And when its time came, it let go and flew away. Away from the concrete troubles, letting the wind take it anywhere and everywhere.
