Heyy, sorry I wasn't on yesterday. The karate tournament was two hours out of town.
The hotel my dad and I stayed in was actually a VICTORIAN MANSION. Unfortunately, my dad kept that little detail to himself. It was so pretty!
As for the tournament:
Weapons: 2nd place
Kata (y'know, a make-believe fight): 2nd place
Sparring (Fighting): 1st place
So, I did pretty well.
Also, I learned to ice skate today. I'm really good at it. This is my first day ever being in an ice skating rink, so I was terrible at first. I only fell three times!

Shrouded in black, the mysterious bird creeps to the edge of the sky. It peeps down at the world beneath its feet, shivering a little. A flutter of wings reveals a glowing orange light as it plummets to the ground below, announcing the arrival of dawn. I sit by and drink a cup of black coffee.
