Part 7

"Come on Sandina. GET UP AND MOVE!" Chikaru shouted. Keto slapped Chikaru across her face.
"Shut up you wench." When Sandina heard the slap of his hand across Chikaru's face she stood up. Keto turned to Sandina. "So you do have some strength to stand. How quaint."
"You leave her alone." Sandina's entire body was surrounded by lightning. It was so strong it rose her a foot into the air.
"I seem to have struck a nerve." Keto said holding Chikaru's neck out. "Now what will you do if I bite her?"
"You won't live that long to find out!" Sandina shouted as she fired a lightning blast at Keto. Keto dodged the lightning and it struck the wall by chikaru, brekaing the shackles around her. "Chikaru! Leave now!" Keto wrapped his arm around Chikaru's chest and put his fangs close to her neck.
"One more move Sandina and I'll bite your friend's head clean off."
"Filthy vampire!" Chikaru elbowed Keto's gut and kicked him across the face. She ran and stood by Sandina. "You can't handle the both of us."
"Oh can't I?" Keto said licking the blood from his mouth. "We're not alone."
Candy, Keto's sister, flew down in her bat form. "I thought bats hated to come out during the day." Chikaru said watching the bat.
"They aren't suppose to come out during the day. It hurts them." Sandina added.
"But I'm no ordinary bat." The little bat squeaked. She transformed into her vampire form and she grinned evilly.
"Holy crap! Vampires can't come out during the day or they die. how in the heck she do that?!" Chikaru asked in ashonishment.
"I heard rumor going aorund that they can travel as bats during the day, but they have to be specialy trained for that." Sandina said getting into her fighting stance.
"Give the human a prize. She got it right. I am trained to handle intense light. That's why I can make more slaves during the day." Candy hissed.
"What do you want to do Sandina?" Chikaru asked backing up.
"let's see. You want to take on the guy and I'll take on the girl? Or do you want the girl and I take the guy?"
"I'll take on the guy. For some reason I do not like the girl." Sandina and Chikaru faced their opponents. "This is not going to be easy."
"You're telling me." Sandina said landing on teh ground. "I'm almost out of energy. That sudden burst of anger gave me a little strength back, but I don't think I can handle a full battle. I better make thses last shots count or I'm bat chow." Sandina thought as she powered up the lightning in her fists. Chikaru fell to teh ground behind her. "Chikaru? What's wrong?" Sandina turned and saw a pin needle in her neck. She looked back and saw that Candy had a hand full of needles.
"Oh don't you like them? They're my poison needles. Able to stun an opponent with just one hit." Candy threw the pin needles at Sandina, but Sandina shot them back with a blast of lightning. "You're much faster than an ordinary human. I'm surprised you can even see these tiny needles fling at you."
Sandina jumped into the air and shot lightning needles at Candy and Keto. They easily dodged. Sandina slipped on some blood she landed on and fell onto her back. "Ow. That was unexpected." keto seized the moment and pinned Sandina down on her back. "Get off of me you blood sucking loser!"
"On the contrary. I always like to overpower the ones I'm going to kill."
"Why do you keep these two alive anyway brother?"
"Because this one, my sister, is Sandina, the lightning weilder that our father encountered before."
"Then our time has finally come?"
"yes, our time to finally kill as many humans as we please has finally arrived. I am holding the key to our success." Sandina kicked Keto off of her and grabbed the knife on teh ground.
"There's no way I'm going to be a vampire's weapon." Sandy put the knife to her throat. Keto flew up, tackled Sandina to the ground, and yanked the knife away from her.
"We're not letting you die on us when we are this close to our goal."
"You will never be able to control the power that runs in my veins!"
"It doesn't matter my sweet." Candy said picking up Chikaru. "Even though we can't control you phisically or mentally, we can still control you from using her."
"Sandina, don't... don't do it... just let them kill me.... don't risk everyon else."
"Don't listen to her Sandina. You either do as we ask or we'll do everything in our power to make her pathetic little life as long and painful as possible." Keto said. "We both have friends in high and low places. We can make sure that this girl goes through hell and we'll make sure that we stretch out the suffering until you've done what we require."
Sandina thought of every other solution she could. "If I do what you ask, will you let her go home saftly?"
"Let her go home?" Candy asked.
"Yeah! Let her go home. Let CHikaru go back to the human city without any harm and I will go with you without a fight. BUt if she get's even one hair hurt on her head I swear that no matter what you did to me or her that I will never go with you peacfully."
"Fine. We agree to your terms. She will go home completely safe and not a single hair on her head will be harmed by us."
"I don't want her harmed by anyone! No monster can harm her! No human! Nothing can touch her till she get's across the bridge, through the barrier and get's home saftly!"
"It's a deal." Candy said yanking the needle from Chikaru's neck. "Now get out of here." Chikaru stood and watched Sandina.
"LEAVE CHIKARU! GO TO THE HEAD MASTER! TELL HIM WHAT HAS HAPPENED!" Chikaru nodded her head and went to race out of the house. Count Diago stood on her way and pushed her back.
"SANDINA!"
"Father has arrived." Candy said.
"Father? I thought he wasn't going to be able to get the message of the capture until a few nights had passed."
"I brought him here. He said he was getting tired of waiting and he was going to draw the person out. Strife, the pheonix, protected us form the sun's harmful rays and escorted us here. He's waiting on the cliff above us."
"If your dad harms my friend we have no deal!" Sandina shouted.
"It doesn't matter. You may have gotten out of our mind powers, but you will never escapre my father's mighty strength!" Keto and Candy's evil laugh grew louder and louder as each passing second went by.
