congradulations silverpaw!i said, now that stonefang is a warrior, well be the only apprentices!after i finished talkin with her, i padded over to starpaw who was sitting beside his new mentor, sunleaf.hey!i said to my brother.good luck on bein a medicine cat apprentice!thanx, he replied.
i gave himm a lik on the head then padded over to stonefang. his mother, stormpool,was gazing at her son proudly.
so r u prepared 4 ur vigil tonight? i asked him. ive ben waiting 4 this scince i was a kit! of course im reay!well! good luk! i told him, and padded off, heading 4 my den.
silverpaw had already currled up into a nest right beside mine and was asleep,her chest moving slowly up and down in slowly.as i padded over 2 my nest, my stomach growled. whoops sweatdrop ! i thought, hoping that silverpaw haddnt heard it.
so instead of getting into my nest and curling up to go to sleep, i padded back outside the den toward the freshkill pile/ once i waz there, i plucked out a nice lookin mouse and sat down. i looked acrose the clearing and saw that stonefang had takin up his position by the camp entrance,officially starting his silent vigil.
silenlty i finished my mouse and then heading toward the medicine den with two more mice to c if sunleaf and starpaw were hungry. as i padded into the den, sunleaf looked up at me thankfully. (obviously she had smelled the food!)she padded over towards me and took both of the mice and gave 1 to my brother who also looked up at me gratefully, all of the excitment that he had shown earlier was still there.they both finished off the mice qiqckly and sunleaf turned to me, thank u for bringing the mouse! and with that, she turned and qieutly padded into the little crack in her cave were she slept.so wen do u start ur training? i asked starpaw who was noisily washing himself. sunleaf told me that we should start with learning about the different types of berries tomorrow! he told me excitedly. i looked at my brother and saw how happy he was and realized that i hadnt seen him this happy scince we his leg had ben mangled. but then as i looked at him again, he stifled a yawn. u must b tired! i told him. u better go and get some sleep. and silently he obeyed.as i pushed me way oout of the ave, i noticed that stonefang was vushed up and was hissing at something throught the trees and bramble bushes that gaurded our camp entrance. i padded closer and the strong scent of rainClan and fear hit me. Brooketail!wat r u doing here?! demanded father, looking at the bluegray she cat that emerged.
pleaz! whitestar!the water has overflowed and half of the clan has already drownd! uve got 2 help us!
