Some of us are romantics (myself included) and some of us are anime freaks (again, myself included). Mix them up and you get a load of BS. Most animes now a days have romantic story lines in which the couples are basically teenagers. They fall in love and live happily ever after. Some of these include: Love Hina, Chrno Crusade, DNAngel, among many others. It gets to a point where a teenager actually believes that it might actually happen, WRONG!
I've had friends who believe that they might find their one true love at a young age and have a wonderful life with the person as some animes portray. Don't get me wrong, there is a possibility you might find that person, but in reality, the chances are pretty slim. It isn't only that they want to beleive they might find their soulmate, but they actually want the person to look as hot as an anime character. That's where I draw the line. Can you imagine someone you like walk up to you and say "I would like you if you had purple eyes and red hair that could stand like Cloud's." It's utterly ridiculous in my opinion. Not to mention the fact that most teenagers cannot distinguish the difference between love and lust.
What's my point? I dunno, I just woke up so I'm cranky ><. But seriously, it might not be my buisness if people think the way they think but I just thought I would let people know that anime and reality are two VERY different things. Now if you excuse me, I need to go watch some more DNangel....for the action of course!
