Its time for yet another edition of Anime Showdown, where I discuss battles in anime that I wish would happen. I am the King of Kings. Today I will be talking about two very important characters from Dragon Ball Z, Frieza and Vegeta.
In the Dragon Ball universe, Vegeta is one of the few remaining whole saiyans. The saiyans are a race of monkey-like people who lived on a planet named Vegeta, named after their ruler King Vegeta. Fearing the saiyans powers, the evil tyrant Frieza destroyed their entire planet, killing millions. The surviving saiyans include Radiz, his younger brother Kakkarot (who becomes the hero Goku), Napa, Prince Vegeta, and Turles. Prince Vegeta becomes on of Frieza's minions.
Years later, Vegeta rebels against Frieza and the two battle on planet Namek. Vegeta, claiming he was a super saiyan, fought Frieza and was defeated with little effort. Vegeta died on Namek, with Frieza mocking him the entire time. Vegeta was later brought back to life and became a super saiyan years later.
Now to my discussion. Why couldn't Super Saiyan Vegeta finally get revenge on Frieza? Why was he denied this battle? I personally think it would have been the greatest battles ever. Seeing the expression on Frieza's face as Vegeta becomes a super saiyan, it would have been a codak moment. rofl
I have no problem with how the events on planet Namek went down, it was one of the best and most dramatic sagas of Dragon Ball Z. Moving on to Dragon Ball GT, when all the villains who were in hell came back to life, there was a chance for this battle yet again. Of course at this time Vegeta would be way more powerful than Frieza, I would have loved to see it. I was also mad I didn't get to see Raditz, but that is another rant for another day. Why were we denied Frieza vs. Super Saiyan Vegeta? Why?! scream gonk
