it has ben about a moon scince starpaw injured hiz leg. we still have no idea how it happend and darkwolf still blames himslf.his and mistridges only surviving pup,silverpup, iz now an apprentice and stonepaw is now stonefeather.wen starpaw found out that he ould never become a warrior, he waz devestated. he didnt no wat 2 do. he had 2 move in2 the elders den with mosstail.she has ben very pretective over him ever scince he went 2 join her. he has 2 go Sunleafs den every day for treatment and i think he likes watching her .at 1st i thought he had a crush on her but then yesterday,i went 2 go c him and mosstail told me he waz in with sunleaf.so i went 2 check on him and wen he saw me he wadled up 2 me and almost howled,im going 2 become sunleafs apprentice!!!wat?! i stared at me brother in disbelief.he came up closer and gave me head a lick.i wouldnt be any use 2 the clan if i were 2 become a warrior with this stupid mangled up leg and after watching sunleaf, i really like watching her help not just me, but all the clan!as if on cue, sunleaf walked up.your brother will become a great medicine wolf. she tried 2 reasure me.i let him pull out a thorn in owlpelts pad the other day and he did a great job! owlpelt said it didnt even hurt!starpaw boasted. seeing me brother sooo happy made me realize that he wanted 2 do this. u wanna come and get some fresh kill with me?he looked up at sunleaf and wen she nodded, he followed me out the den.so wen is your ceremony?i asked him. 2morrow at moonhigh. wen we had finished eating, we walked over 2 silverpaw who we noticed was staring at 1 of the younger warriors,redclaw.u like him dont u?i asked her. she jumped around at the sound of me voice and swated me. so wat if i do?she retorted. u like firepelt! i do not! i said. at that moment, goldpool stepted in between us.ok u 2 cut it out!she said sternley. then she asked me,if its ok with cinderwolf, do u want 2 come hunting with me?sure! i bounded over 2 were cinderwolf was and asked her, wen she said it was ok, i bounded out of the hollow with goldpool. wen we were out out of earshot she blurted out, im going 2 have pups!!!i stared at her in astonishment.she looked at me nervously and almost whisperd, u wont tell, will u?i mean, not yet?of course i wont!i just cant believe it! thats great!does owlpelt no?how did u no owlpelt waz.. she never got 2 finish becuz owlpelt burst through the bracken and scrambled 2 a halt. there u r goldpool!!!have u eaten yet? no. she said and looked at me. i guess he does no. she murmerd in me ear. i saw a gleam of amusment in her eye. as we headed back 2 camp i nnoticed a patrol coming back.whitemoon!whitemoon!darkwolf called. he sounded very ergant. wats the matter? asked brownfeather, appearing out of the braccken. theres a dead fox on territory!
