Holding up a boulder in mid-air she yelled down to the chained and shackled family. "I can make you love me! I can! Surrender your heart to me and I'll let them go!"
The unchained man flew up to her. "Leave them alone." He took the boulder away from her and threw it deeper in the cave. He returned back to her. His family shocked at his surreal abilities and strength. He paid them no heed, already knowing the facial expressions; scared, disgusted, and shocked. He took the floating woman's hand and brought her down with him. When they reached the floor he nodded. "They couldn't want me anyway.....I might as well be with the lady that made me this way. I'll stay with you...For eternity," he said, keeping his eyes to the floor. "Let them go and make sure they're safe."
She smirked. "I'll see what I can do." She snapped her fingers and the chains loosened and the shackles opened. She glared at them. "Come back again and I'll have your heads." She gave a twisted smile.
The children wide-eyed and ignorant to the threat ran away while the parents of the man were left shaken and angry. "We'll be back.."
The woman laughed. "When you do," she said while pointing to the wall. "I'll have a space ready for your heads."
The man squirmed. "Touch them and I'll never touch you," he threatened, still avoiding eye contact with anything that had breath.
She looked amazed and raised his chin to her face. She saw the look in his eyes and frowned. "Don't be sad puppy. I won't lay a finger on them," she talked as if she were to a baby.
He swatted her hand away and rushed deeper into the cave.
She flicked her wrist at his parents as if you to say, you're dismissed.
They turned toward the entrance of the cave and left.
The dark mistress that wanted him so badly, had his body but could never get his heart.
