My iPod Is ******. iAllowed an elementary student to look through it, not under my supervision. When i got into the car to go home, it seemed to turn on by itself, but of course, i didn't check to see if the Hold was on, so i shrugged it off.. iTurned off the iPod, and i believe i put it on hold. It was on Shuffle, so i assumed the student had just Shuffled the song to listen or whatnot. It was on Shuffled Song #15. iHad soon gotten home within a 20-30 minute time statis. iSat in my room, but heard my headphones sounding. iTook it back out, and of course, it was on playing Bon Jovi. Song #45. iStarted to get worried, but i assumed that i had forgotten to put on the Hold when i had turned it off earlier, so i could have just kept accidentally hitting the forward button since 35 songs couldn't have played on their own in under 30 minutes. iWanted to listen to one song by Marilyn Manson before i went to bed. iClicked around to it listening to the music that was already playing. The music was strange though because it had backtracked to the songs previous of it without my consent. iDon't believe i had pressed anything, but i assumed i accidently did. iClicked the song i wanted to hear. It played a different song. iShrugged it off, thinking i might have scrolled up when i didn't mean to, and tried clicking back. This is where things get weird.** The iPod froze, but kept playing the music. iHad taken it off of Hold, but the "Lock" symbol at the corner of the iPod didn't go away. It didn't show how the song was progressing, but i could heard it playing. Once the song was over, it did not go onto the next. The light of the iPod did not fade, and it hadn't since. iAm actually hoping that my iPod would die, so that hopefully i will be able to restart the software by recharging it. Plugging it into the computer and the wall had no effect to it. iCould not activated iTunes. It had said there WAS an error with it. Comments? =/

	Well that's a bother. I didn't know such a small peace of hardware could be eventfull. I've never had an ipod before.

	My iPod actually isn't so small, it's the original 30GB one. =] I've had it for about 3 years so it has been worn. The battery doesn't hold up for as long as it should. If listened to for 7 hours straight without being touched [like scrolling around], it will be dead by then. I hadn't dropped it at all yesterday so what i'm wondering is what actually caused it to have the error. =/ But it's working now. I Placed it face down in my room before going to sleep, and if i ever woke up later, and saw the light wasn't glowing from under it, i would plug it in. It actually had died, i was afraid that it would die without be knowing because the screen would still be light and frozen. When i woke up around 5am, i pressed it, it turned on, make a really messed up running noise and shut down. So i plugged it into the wall, and it was fine by the titme i woke up. =]

	Whoa. That's really weird. If it was my ipod, I would just reset it, but your ipod's situation sounds really confusing. confused [P.S.] I've had the same thing happen where I've taken it off hold, but the lock symbol was still there. That's when I just reset it and everything would be fine.

	My iPod was doing something like that a few weeks ago, but it wasn't as severe. it simply wouldn't turn off, so I got frustrated and said, "'Know what iPod, you can just stay on and die for all I care." So i just tossed the damn thing in my purse and let it die. It worked fine after I charged it again. Meheh.

	dont worry about anything cuz when it goes dead, it will just be okey when you plug it into the wall and it happens to me alot... stare
