Chapter 11
The group ran out of the school, all the way to Kirts house, since it was closest.
“I didn't know she was...”
“Shh, Mr. Kirts everything is going to be alright.” Callista told him. “Eric call your mom and dad, mine too. We have a big problem on our hands.”
Eric just nodded.
Luecha felt strong arms carrying her. She groaned slightly, she was so sore.
“Shh, you'll be alright, Sis, we're taking you to the hospital.”
The group of vampires stood there ground and waited for the witch to come. Even Nikki was there, she waited, strangely she was smiling, Callista held her in her arms.
“Deleterious, you want me, come and get me.” Kiori yelled. “I'm not about to fight you, you've proven that you have more strength then I do.”
It was not only Kiori that was there but also LuAnna and Maryanna two aura witches. LuAnna was a close friend of Maryanna and Kiori's family, or had been. She knew everything about their stepfather.
“well, it seems we have everyone here for the wedding, except a preacher. Oh, and my daughter, come here.” Deleterios held out his arms.
“say please, daddy.” Nikki told him.
“please, come here, Nicole.” Deleterios gritted his teeth.
Callista put Nikki down, she walked over to Deleterios, who picked her up.
“daddy, I have a question?”
“what?”
“where's my mommy?” Nikki asked innocently.
Deleterios paused, hadn't her grandparents told her? Why did he have to tell her? And why where his hands suddenly burning. He almost dropped Nikki.
“drop my daughter, Deleterios.” Jolean's voice rang out, from the child. “gently, or you will see hell.”
“Jolean!” Deleterios put Nikki down, who ran over to Callista.
“I am here, can you see me?” She asked, standing in front of him. “you want to know why you can't? Because I'm in your subconscious. Don't look around, they can't see me. I'm with you, because you killed me.”
“Jolean, please, I'm sorry.” Deleterios cried.
“sorry, yeah right, you said you were sorry the day I got pregnant, you were sorry we ever made the mistake. According to you our child was a mistake. You are responsible for sending me to my death. For that you will die!”
everyone watched as the ground opened up to reveal a deep pit with fire. Suddenly Deleterios was pushed in! The ground closed and a bright light blinded them all.
Jolean, with her own spirit walked over to orison, she smiled at him. She brushed his hair back, and gently kissed his lips.
“Take good care of Kiori, and Nikki too. I'll come back if you don't.” She threatened with a smile.
“Jolean.” He whispered, Kiori took his hand.
“Everything is going to be alright.” She whispered.
The spirit walked over to her family, the little girl looked up at her, and held out her hands. She shook her head sadly, she could not pick up her own child. She smiled at both her parents, who were crying. Starion was the only father that she too had ever known.
“Dad, thanks for taking care of mom. Mom, don't cry, its okay, everything will be alright. Callista.” She turned to her younger sister, tears were in both girls eyes.
“Jolean, please, don't leave me again. I don't want to be alone.” She whispered.
“Your not alone, sis, you have Eric, and Nikki. I know they will always be there for you, and you for them.” she brushed her sister's tears away with her hand. “Nikki, you watch out for your big sister and Orison, k? Make sure Eric takes very very very good care of both of you. ”
The little girl nodded, and went to wrap her arms around her mother's legs, and surprisingly she could.
Jolean, it is time for you to come home.
“I have to go now, but I will always be in your hearts.” Jolean told them.
