I'm on the planning commitee for the Geek-kon convention here in Madison, Wi. I'll be on PR/Promo, as well as helping Artist Alley. The Kon will be October 6 & 7th, in the Humanities Building at the UW (we've reserved 28 rooms). Admission is free since it's our first year. We'll be having Anime viewings, Sci-fi viewings (probably fan movies and public domain Sci-fi/Fantasy), Gaming (LARP, RPG, CCG, Magic the Gathering, Warhammer, DDR, Guitar Hero, various consul gaming, and Geek Cranium).
