The nights begin to fall prey to the beings of Hell as their day of celebration fasts approaches. Many people have locked themselves in at night to avoid confrontation with these menaces, but I see no point in doing so. None have crossed my path so far...Altough, I hear of more vampyr victims by the day. I promised myself not to get involved with their feedings, or any other demonic activity for this month...but, it goes against my nature not to help the innocent...It hurts; not to hear of the adult victims mind you, but the women of my age...It makes my skin crawl...But what can I do? This is their month...this is when their power is at its peak. Even a picollus could defeat a mortal man of great physical strength. With a heavy sigh, I sit and watch. That's all I can do.
