The Thoughts and Feelings of OuEstLaCraie
A place for thoughts, ramblings, and reflections; a sort of blog, if you will, where I'll share the daily drudgery of my life, the fun things I do with friends, and any random ideas I have for rolling around in my noggin. Enjoy : )

No, this entry isn't about what you think it is. But before I get into what it is about, a little background... *~* So, today me and some other kids went down to the junior high to present four different potential summer reading books to the kids at the JHS (I introduced each group and their book). We left the high school after first period, and got back just as fifth was starting. I had an essay to write that period (English), and then a test the following period (French). But my English teacher, Mr. Haugen, has said that he was going to get all the kids in the Next Book League (yes, that's what we're called) pizza, and that we should stop by at the beginning of sixth period to get some. And I did. The thing is, though, that I stayed for like half the period. And then, when Mr. Haugen and the other teachers finally kicked us out, my friend, Amelia, and I decided that we really didn't feel like going to French class. So...we kind of just...didn't...go. We went to the library instead. And then, once we'd safely gotten to the library, who walks in but...Mr. Haugen, accompanied by another English teacher, Mr. Egbert. I must say...scary times, man. Scar-ee times. But it was a really great day. mrgreen *~KT ~May 18, 2007...KT McG cuts a high school class for the first (and hopefully last) time.~
p.s.--I REALLY hope Mademoiselle Marino doesn't read this... ninja
And just for you, a little Mr. Haugen-ism.: (We had been writing a journal entry in class about whether we thought a character from Steinbeck's The Pearl was innocent of guilty of domestic abuse...long story. But anywho, my friend, Matt, read his out loud, and Mr. Haugen had this to say smile "I like the way he wrote that...it sounded judge-ly-like."
