Every Weekday I am woken up at 6.45 by my annoyingly shrill set of alarm clocks. Still groggy, I turn them all off or onto the ‘snooze’ setting in slow motion and then by 7.00 I’m asleep again. At 7.15 my phone alarm wakes me up with a run of ‘The Mexican Dance’, making me jump out of bed to answer the non-existent call. Finally awake I surrender to the morning and start to get ready.
Like a drunk, I totter around the room, grabbing my school uniform and spend about twenty minutes working out the statements “socks on feet” and “trousers don't fit around your arms!” Once I am dressed, after almost strangling myself with my school tie, I pull my bag over my shoulder. I make my way to the bathroom, walking into the walls and doorframes at least twice, Then I start to brush my face and wash my teeth...wait no, switch that around.
After tripping over Shadow, my cat, and having my leg turned into a human scratching post, I stumble down the stairs to escape from my mad moggie! Grabbing my phone, keys and bus money I run out of the door —no longer having enough time for breakfast or to feed my frantic feline –and walk quickly to the bus stop (I would much rather run but for the fear of some driver opening their window and laughing at the strange figure of the frantic student and throwing something at me.) At last I’m on the bus, crowded with students, each thinking that the person two feet away won’t hear what they’re saying to them unless they scream it at the top of their lungs. Once sitting down (supposing this is a day where I actually get a seat) I pull on some earphones and try to drown out the ‘howler-monkey world’ from my mind.
It doesn’t work.
Finally I arrive in the school’s coach park. I stand up, trying to balance properly with my bags a I am shoved forward by the crowded aisle of kids pushing me towards the bus’s door, of course they are all anxious to ‘learn’. Since I don’t have any time to meet up with my mates before school starts I usually walk around to form with my mate Sam, to get registered before my lessons.
If there are no form rep meetings, or any assemblies, I usually just try to get through the morning lessons without falling asleep. My favourite lessons are Art and Drama, which I obviously chose for GCSE. Inter Then comes Geography which I find interesting and can usually bear sitting through a lesson, even though this year all of my lessons are in the morning periods. Also, joint with third, comes resistant materials. I love to design things, making them is even better, This is the only reason why I chose RM over graphics. In RM you get to do both while in Graphics you only design...unless you class paper nets making your design.
Anywho… at lunch, I usually meet Jack in the drama studio. Because I don’t like to eat outside Jack normally moans that Im boring and says he’ll meet me once I’ve finished eating. This is because Jack is a sun-loving freak. Hahaha! Don’t tell him I said that. After lunch I have one more lesson, which Is usually filled with daydreaming about when school will end. Finally, the lesson will finish and I will rush to the bus to get a seat since we now have a new driver who is determined to throw anyone off if they do not have a seat. If anyone who is reading this gets a bus anywhere near Aylesbury, this annoying driver looks strangely like a mole with a comb-over, AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS!
I soon find the bus at my stop, where I will walk for 10 minutes until I walk to my nice cozy home behind the prison. Creepy I know.
The house is usually parent-free until 4 or 5, which is around the time which my mum comes home from work (My mum’s a nurse)
After being forced to finish my homework and tidy my room, I usually just relax and draw, read or go on the computer….or all three, it matters how I’m feeling.
Just before tea, My dad will come home from his work (as an engineer). I make my lunch for tomorrow and repack my bag with the books I will need.
My sister (who I think is very cool) normally arrives from work in a bad mood just in time for tea and once we’ve finished eating, I usually wash up the dishes and feed the cat before watching a film or playing on my PS2 (again, or doing both).
Finally, Between 10 and 1 I read or watch TV until I fall asleep.
