Coincidences are funny things... Apparently everything in this world happens for a reason... But some things never have a real purpose, do they?

"Dont let her escape!" Were the calls that followed a beautiful young woman, with long flowing black locks, and eyes an icy blue, as she raced past the guards, and towards the large steel doors that had kept her locked in the terrible prison for nine months. In her arms was a baby boy.
"Let the boy down, Kimimi! We will not hurt him if you release him!" The call was distressed. Kimimi turned her head for a moment, and then...

Taire shot awake, his eyes wide and his face and pillow drenched in sweat. He looked up at the small mirror he kept across from his bed, and panted a little. With a short glance at the clock, he noticed it was 11:59. One minute to his 18th birthday, and the day he could finally leave this lonely, cockroach-infested, dirty, little shack they called an orphanage. The only thing remotely close to something he cared about in this place was her... Her memories, and the fact that he still hadnt found her.
"Taire! Taire!" He heard her voice again.. and closed his eyes to remember. The beautiful little girl, with shoulder-length brown hair that was always in that cute little ponytail, those deep, soulful dark-brown eyes. A tear slid down his cheek, "Bethany... Why did you have to dissapear?" He asked himself quietly, squeezing the necklace that she had made for him, with a shiny black rock they had found on one of their many walks in the forest. He heard a soft giggle in his ear, and his head whipped around to see the source... The window was open. Perhaps just the wind? He didnt care. He just closed the window again and laid back down to think about what he would do after he left...
"Lovely day, isnt it?" Bella asked Taire as he began to walk out the door. Bella was a cute little girl who loved to tag along behind him whenever he went out. She was the younger sister of Bethany, and looked exactly like her, which is the same reason Taire detested her.
"I'm leaving. Just go back inside." He replied with a clench of his fist. Bella noticed this hostility, and whimperered a bit as she fled inside. Taire shook his head slowly and walked out of the grounds. He glanced back at the orphanage slowly before stepping into the forest. "One last look, perhaps?" He asked himself as he gazed at the tree where he had been counting for hide-and-seek when she had dissapeared. With a small flash of her face, he walked down the small path that lead into the forest curiously. Exactly six years, to the day, to the hour... and near to the estimated time. Taire shook his head slowly, "Odd cooincidence." He said to himself as he began to weave through the trees, spaced quite close together for a man of his age to go through easily. A loud scream sounded from the north, and his eyes went wide, "Bethany!" He yelled as he chased towards it. It was her... He knew it. It sounded exactly as she had on that fateful day six years ago.
As he reached what he thought was the source of the sound, he didnt find Bethany... In fact, what he did find was quite surprising. A large purple disk... with swirling sky-blue streaks inside it. He heard the scream again, from behind it, and instantly jumped at it... Well, not at it. More like.. through it. As his screams began, Bethany's screams died... Exactly like last time, however, it was too late before it even began.
