Ever wonder what it feels like to run your knuckles against a table sander? IT FREAKING HURTS!

Sigh. I was making the Claw/Katar for Darien's Sabin costume and was sanding it on the belt when the damn thing jumped out of my hands letting my knuckles make love to the sand paper... blood everywhere and I cant work right on other things now because my hand hurts so damn bad. The Katar, which came out good in my opinion is now covered in blood.. glad I am painting it.
Both Darien and Marek don't like the way it came out... Sigh~ Pictures soon... I promise.
So far I got Celes' cloak done and half way though her body suit. I am not looking forward to squeezing my fat self in that thing... I am working out for it. I dont want to wear it until my belly is flat... Bought a great pair of rennaisance like boots for Celes but they dont fit me so altering them will be a fun challenge ^^
as for the Merchant costume... Sabin is SO HARD TO FIT! He is always constantly moving around... I got the jacket altered... it was too small so I had to cut it up the center and add fabric to make it larger. It came together well. All i need to fix now are the loops inside to hold all of his merchanty goodness. Its going to be easier than i though, which is great.
Still leaves, Kefka, Marek, Krauser, Chainsaw Man, Terra, Edgar, Duo, kino and two zombies... possibly four. Thank God that some of those are started alreadt. like Edgar's armor. I need a break already and there is no time.... Sigh~ I dont feel very appreciated either...

Just a wardrobe update for anyone who cares.
Leon, Locke, Auron, Kingdom Hearts Cloud and Tidus are all finished with the exceptions of the alterations I need to make on Cloud, Tidus and Auron's swords and locke's Hawkeye.
I have finished the Chain Saw and Bag hat for Darien's second day being the Cainsaw guy from RE4. Also done is Edgar's armor and his and Celes' swords.
There is still so much to do and walking into march is starting the pressure. I have 5 months to get the rest of these costumes together... Whats left is Krauser from RE4, Sabin, Edgar, Celes, Terra, Kefka, Duo, RE4 Merchant, Marek and 4 Zombies.... And I cant shake the feeling I am missing something... sigh~
I am getting behind and I am worried. I know I can finish duo in about a half hour and I am doing either Celes or Merchant today. PRAY FOR ME!
Will make costumes for POCKY!!!!!

YES Rythen! NO SHADOW! ::dances::
It turns out that our Shadow was my sister's BF and they broke up not to long ago. I do feel bad though, Rythen wanted to be him but since he was taken he had to chose Edgar. Hope he dosent mind.
So now there is a BIG update. New list of people going... these sudden changes need to STOP NOW for I cant be expected to keep up on costume making while everyone is switching around on me....
Now there are 11 people going and I am substituting Tom's costumes for staci's friend's who is taking her place. Gonna be rough. GOD HELP ME.
Almost done Leon. Got a little touch up work to do and paint some weapons. I feel like I havent gotten anything done at all... I need Rythen to come by for DUO fitting ^^ I love Duo.
I guess thats it. There was mroe Drama as always but I am leaving it out.. My Otakon plans will not be sullied by my evil sisters actions >.<

HAHA! Its that time again. I thought that since I don't really write many -happy- things in here that I would start keeping a progress log of all I have gotten done so far for this years Otakon.
There are 9 of us going and 7 of us have three costumes each. Our first day theme is FFVI. The cast for that is : Celes, Locke, Shadow, Sabin, Edgar, Terra and Kefka.
Day two is just a random cast : Tidus, Auron, Rinoa, Squall, Duo, Kingdom Hearts Cloud and Marek as his avatar
Day three is much the same as above : Leon, The Merchant from RE4, Squall, Heartless, Sydeny from vagrant story, Darien as his avatar and marek as his.
So my update so far is that I have more done that I expected. YAY.
Yesterday I nearly finished Leon's shirt and his guns are finished. Its sucky that I have to ruin them by painting the tips orange. Tidus' brotherhood is sweet! Its almost done but so far is made of translucent blue plexiglass.
I got Edgars armor finished along with his and Celes' swords. I re-made myself a pair of Tidus shoes, so all I have lef tin his costume is the shoulder peice, since I just remade the other half of his armor in october for halloween.
I'll post pictures tonight. I am so excited already. Somehow I thought these posts would be more interesting... oh well. no one comes here anyway.
