We coward apon this cold dessolite ground,
Alone and afraid.
Clutching our knees to our chest
In hopes that we are found.
We just stare down at our shoes.
Begging that the fear we've just excaped will never come back.
We Fear our problems will catch us,
And if they do we think that we have everything to lose.
We fear that our loved ones will leave us one day,
So we hold on to them, never letting go.
But we cling on too tight
And we end up driving them away.
The truth is that the only thing we have to fear
Is fear itself.
If we spend our lives being afraid
We will lose the ones we hold dear.
