Sega, I understand that after the Dreamcast went under, you had to have some way to keep afloat. But couldn't you have picked a different game to butcher?
Why Sonic? We all loved Sonic, and then you had to go and make him into a shitty TV show, with shitty, knock-off games that you clearly didn't try very hard on. I mean really, you put Sonic on a skateboard, Shadow on a motorcycle with a gun, and Knuckles? Rouge? Amy? Big the Cat and Froggy? Beta? What happened to them? Even Tails has been demoted to a tertiary character. What happened to Chaos, and Robotnik? You changed Robotnik's name to "Eggman", for god's sakes! And the Chaos Emeralds? The Master Emerald? What happened to Mystic Isle, and Robotnik's flying fortress? Where the hell did the bitchy, weepy kids who can't do anything for themselves come in?
What happened to the Chao, and the Chao gardens? Chaos drives, little animals to make your Chao look cuter, special animals, Chao eggs, any of this ringing any bells?
I keep hoping that maybe, just maybe, one day you'll return to your roots and the stellar Sonic games you had for the Genesis and the Dreamcast. Sonic Adventures 1 and 2? Still in my top five favorite games of all time.
And yet, every time, the half-assed games you spit out are not only disappointments, they kill a little part of my childhood. I mean, you put Sonic in ******** FINAL FANTASY armor! And a sword? Sonic doesn't need a gods-dammed sword! He can spin and run at nearly super-sonic speeds! He broke robots apart with only a couple hits! You took one of the best, and made them into a ******** pansy! What the hell is WRONG with you?!
So thanks, Sega. Thank you for being a money-grubbing, hope-shattering, s**t-spewing disappointment. Yet Again.
