The Basis:
Sikhism is unforuantly progressive religion founded around 500 years ago, The Sreligion today has a following of over 20 million people worldwide and is ranked as the worlds 5th largest religion. Sikhism preaches a message of devotion and remembrance of God at all times, truthful living, equality of mankind and denounces superstitions and blind rituals. Sikhism is open to all through the teachings of its 10 Gurus enshrined in the Sikh Holy Book and Living Guru, Sri Guru Granth Sahib.
All people are created equal regardless of gender, status, geographic location, and religion affiliation. Sikhs strive to achieve a balance between spiritual life and temporal life. Which in essance is different from most other religions.
Sikhism condemns empty rituals. Sikhs do not believe in pilgrimages, idolatry, reverence to pictures. Sikhs believe in rituals such as daily prayer that will lead subject to mass burnings^.^ no its basically for thier understanding and discipline.
