I wanted to feel the butterflies in my stomach

Instead I felt pain in my chest

Isn’t it suppose to pound when you’re happy, excited,
When you’re in love?
Though it was the opposite…
I want to feel that funny felling
You know, like butterflies in your stomach
Instead it was agony, begging for mercy
How is it possible?
The pressure in your heart, is it even pounding?
