Love at first bite
I stare at her,
She glances at me,
I can't take my eyes off her,
She stares blankly into my golden eyes,
gaping at my soul,
I continue to be mesmerized by her sight,
She smiles shyly,
I look at her face,
Eye like pools of emeralds,
not knowing what will happen next,
Hair a fiery red,
glistening in the sun,
Skin pale and creamy like marble,
I see the mysterious expression on her lovely face,
So inviting,
I need to hold her,
To touch her,
To smell her,
I edge closer,
She giggles under her breath,
I show my smile,
baring my fangs,
Her eyes harden with fear,
As she takes a sudden breath of air,
I rush forward,
As she tries to escape,
Too late,
It happened so quickly,
I grasp her so gently,
As I bite into her flesh,
Feeling her heart pulsing,
Her blood flowing though my teeth,
She tries to take in air,
Struggles to get free of my hold,
No,
She must be mine,
I don't let her go,
The mysterious woman is now mine,
I suck out the last drop of blood,
Like it was liquid gold,
She goes limp,
Her heart stops beating,
I still hold her,
Cradling her,
I let my arm go limp as well as hers,
I watch her fall to the moist earth,
Her skin is now pasty white,
I will never know her,
But now,
She is part of me,
Forever.
