The clock counts down
To the long awaited day
When the distance is closer
And not so far away
You run into my arms
I promise not to let go
You lift your head slowly
So ur eyes begin to show
A mesmirising blue
That's brighter than the sky
I thank my lucky stars
That we'll never say goodbye
You slip your hand in mine
Filling every little space
My heart skips a beat
But then begins to race
I smile to myself thinking
Things are still the same
I cannot imagine my life
If you wouldn't have came
To show me there's more
Than what I let myself see
