thing is im EXCITED
SOOOOO before drum major camp i was all nervous and excited at the same time... and i was nervous cause i was unsure if i was "good" enough to help my band out and lead them to hopefully high rankings...
WELL THATS ALL CHANGED!!
I am well prepared and excited biggrin
During Drum Major camp i have learned a great deal of how to conduct- made a salute under 5 min and worked on my clapping and yelling smile
ive learned many things that i can use like a new dismissal!
SHAKE IT OUT!

-scream to let out all of the steam that might have collected during the rehersal

ANYWAY
i saw our animated drill i little bit ago and it looks great!!
now that our director has done his part in putting our show and music together its all up to :
-me to lead the band through the show and parades and hours of rehersal
-my assistant to do the same and keep me in line
-our band captain to um.... do what a band captain does and keep everyone together and on one page!
-our drum captain to do his best to keep the drummers together and become fabulous marchers
-our woodwind captain to handle the woodwinds smile
-our equipment to make sure our stuff works
-uniform manager to help us look our best and make sure we have all the uniform stuff under control smile doing great at it too
-the rest of the band to respect, behave, listen, have pride in our school, and bare with everybody through this season!!
-the rest of the school who has already supported us a great deal last season!!

FOR WE WILL GO THROUGH HARD TIMES IN OUR BAND BUT WE WILL GET THROUGH- I HAVE FAITH THAT WE WILL BE AWESOME AT OUR COMPETITIONS AND GAMES!!!!!
