~*~*~ Three days before Masquerade ~*~*~
Dark reddish brown curls bounced down the grand staircase of a fancy hotel, as eyes the color of the sea on a sunny day, scanned the main hall of the hotel. Spotting spiky hair the same shade as her own, thanks to gel, Thron ran towards him. "Shadow!" she exclaimed, "Did you hear?" the spiky haird young man turned at the sound of the familier voice and arched an eyebrow. "HeyThorn. You wont belive who just called me. I didn't even know she knew my number." Shadow stated looking at his sister. Her brothers statement drew Thorn's attention so she took the bait and asked, "Huh? Who knows your cell number?" As she asked the question Shadow grabed her shoulders and spun her arouns, leading her out side. "Sasha Davis." Shadow stated as he and Thorn both pulled their sunglasses over their eyes at the same moment. SHe asked me if I would escort her to her birthday party." Thorn looked at her brother in amazement. "Gasp, did you know the party was at the Rivers Hotel?" Shadow shook his head and the siblings crossed the street to the coffe shop where their friends, Crystal, and Alexis, were waiting.
Out of the three girls Crystal was the tallest. She was 5'9" with wavy chocolate brown hair and gold high lights. Alexis stood at 5'7" and a platinum blonf that had natural loose curls. When Alexis spotted the two walking across the street she nudged Crystal and nodded her head towards the twins. "Oh my gosh,Thorn, did you get lost or something?" Crystal called out. "You asked to use a suite to change not to take a nap." SHadow and Alexis laughed at Crystal's comment as Thorn stuck out her tongue. THe twins sat down before Thorn gave her excuse, "Sorry but when I came out of your Dad's office suite I ran into him and guess what he told me?" Crystal was intrued, so she let Thorn continue. "Sasha Davis rented out the whole hotel for her birthday."
Crystal was taken back, the first thought that passed through her mind was, 'Swish! Dad is gunna be in a great mood all mounth!.'
Alexis on the other hand squealed. "So are we invited?"
"Im goin as her escort." Shadow stated
"I have the invitations right here." Thorn said handing every one a mask shaped invitation. "Do you know what this means?" Crystal asked looking to the two girls and then to Shadow. "Shopping!" Alexis squealed as Thron clapped with mock excitement, to match Alexis' Shadow being the only guy in their little group was always taken on these little shopping escapades. He rolled his eyes and checked the message on his phone. "Sorry chickas, Sasha is making me go get fitted for my tux. Cath you on the flip side." he said and left the girls to their shopping.
