Okay, so it didn't exactly burn all of the way down, but almost everything inside of the house was ruined.
The kitchen caught fire when my sister left the grease she was warming up unattended. Yet, she only left for 2 minutes, she says. I was in another room in the house when I hear my sister yell "I think the house is on fire!". I was on the computer at the time and I looked over at the kitchen, noticing that there was black smoke flying out of it.
SO yeah, I'm tired of explaining it clearly and descriptively so I'll just leave that at that... oh, well, okay, so:
-Nobody died. -Kitchen was completely incinerated. -Smoke + Heat took out almost everything else in the house (Even in the upstairs closets). -COMPUTER MONITORS MELTED! -MY CELLPHONE MELTED! -MY NEAT HANDED-DOWN LEATHER WALLET got crispified...
BUT, luckily we have pretty good insurance and that is why I'm telling this to you on our brand new computer with our just acquired internet connection (in the rental house, of course) 29 days after the fire...
The aftermath has distracted me quite a bit, so my grades have been harmed, which makes me EXTREMELY stressed out.
BUT, I know God has been looking out, always.
So I'm really quite fine other than just bein' a bit stressed about my academics.
