Bravey's Stories and Ideas
I think I can describe myself with one sentence: I love to write. So, this is a place where I will put some of my stories, ideas, thoughts, and whatever. If possible, I'll TRY to write every day, but you know how writers like me are...VERY forgetful.

Aurora timidly stepped into the doorway of an unfamiliar bedroom. She had been told that this was her room, but of course, frustratingly, she had no idea if this was correct. I can never completely believe what Jamie says, anyways, she thought angrily. Nothing anyone said anymore could Aurora fully trust. She desperately wanted to talk to Jenny, to sort this stuff out, but her sister would not answer her phone or return Aurora's calls. So, Aurora was on her own to figure this out, and the logical place to start would be "her" bedroom. Let's see what we can find out about this other me. Aurora crossed the bedroom to the dresser. Looking to make sure she wasn't being watch, she opened the first drawer. It seemed to be filled with nothing but socks and underwear. Without thinking, Aurora dug through the socks to reveal a stack of papers in the far back left corner of the drawer. Wait. As she was reachingfor the papers, Aurora realized something and froze. How did I know those would be there? Deciding it was a question for a later time and that she had more important things to think about, she grabbed the papers and laid down across the bed on her stomach. When she had spread the items across the bed on the soft comforter in front of her, Aurora noticed that most of them were not papers, but photographs. She held one up, looking closer at it.The photo showed several young people together, laughing. Aurora was among them, and she recognized Jamie and her other sister, Flicka, on either side of herself. None of the other people in the photograph were familar to her, however. I wonder why I didn't frame some of these. She shuffled through a few more pictures. Many of them included Flicka and Jamie, and one little girl Aurora didn't recognize. Perhaps I wanted to make sure they were in a safe place, like my dresser drawer, and not somewhere conspicuous like framed on my nightstand. That's what I would have done, if these photos were so precious. Embarrassment swept over her suddenly; she was starting to accept, without thinking twice, the lies that Jamie and the rest had been telling her! But then again, she conceded, these pictures are rather convincing. Ah, if only the truth wasn't so difficult for me to see! Aurora picked up a picture of herself and Flicka. She expected her beloved sister's face to bring to the surface the usual intense, murdurous hatred towards Jamie for taking Flicka from her, but now all she felt was grief and a confusion of feelings. Aurora quickly put the picture away. She didn't know what to think or feel anymore, and memories like those were not helping. Now, who is this? Aurora stared at a photograph of the little girl again, desperately trying to remember anything about her.
