So today was my first day here on Gaia & it is totally fun. I have been looking for a good place to meet other Otaku types & I tried tinierme, but it was really boring even if it had better character customization.
I have a livejournal account, but since I really don't go there much anymore, this might just turn into my go-to blog! I have a physical journal, but I am too lazy to even write in it but once a month or so!
I am really hoping to start drawing more often so I can post here. I would love to someday create my own manga, but my art skills are not so great. I love to write, but I just do not have the patience to write a whole novel! I dream of being published, so a book of poetry or a manga would probably be my best bet! I would go the children's book route, but every plot I come up with for them turn out about death for some reason.
I am in college for English teaching, and I am scheduled to graduate in December. Starting August, I will be doing student teaching. After graduation, I plan on trying to find a job as a school Librarian. I think teaching the exact same thing over & over would kill me, it kills me to even watch it when I am doing observation! I really love books, so I hope my education degree will allow me to have a career where I can be around literature.
Well it's bedtime, I will hopefully get to write more tomorrow. I hope I get to make some good friends on here.
