Competition

Calvin and his brother Joe stalked threw the forest; each had seen the shadow of a vampire knew that if they could kill him perhaps they could end this insane charade. Calvin held his spear in one hand, Joe both hands on the large axe hid behind trees. Both were grade A hunters and knew there business well although they weren’t well known they in there young lives had accomplished much and had never not competed a hunt with the desired results. Getting low in the tall grass they both moved threw the grass a tall figure looking out into the opening seemed not to notice them. Calvin slashed his spear sidewise leaving a long bloody mark on the figures back, before he could let out a scream a heavy axe cleaved the mans head off. They watched as he turned to dust then looked around; there mouths fell open at what they saw. The place was full of black carriages figures in black moved around. Suddenly it all changed and the carriages and people vanished, both blinked in surprise then turned running threw the forest away from the clearing….

They stood on an empty road were they had made camp now they stood alert there was the sound of a horse making its way down the road. “Yo bro do you think its that other hunter? We should probably dispatch of him shouldn’t we?”
Calvin gave his brother a look then nodded “perhaps….we wait for him then kill him…”
