Last night I almost died! :o |

After a hard nights work my flatmate and I got back home, opened the front door walked up the stairs... thought I could notice an odd smell in the air >__>; You know, that kind of "left the gas on" smell <__<
Didn't really think too much more of it as the flatmate went over to turn the lamp on...
Now I know all the safety videos I've seen show the dangers of turning lights on when the gas has been left running, they pretty much end in BOOM! So... you can imagine where this leads ^^;;
... so he flicks the switch for the lamp and... it turns on, nothing else xp Mention to him "can you smell something funny?" "Yeah, smells kinda like..." *he looks at the oven and spots the gas has been left on* "... ohcrap!"
So there we go, my near death experience >__> After that we opened all the windows and turned lots of other electrical things on that might have sparked and blew the place up sweatdrop We figured that if turning the lights on was ok it will be fine to turn on the TV and XBox xp

Imagine you've got a great friend. Somebody who you'd talk to every day. Somebody who you could share all your secrets with. Somebody who you could count on, who'd listen to your woes without any complaint. Somebody you cared for. Somebody you would enjoy wasting away your day talking to. Somebody you didn't feel you were actually wasting your time talking to.
Now imagine that same person suddenly disappears from your life without any word of warning. Imagine this same person who you thought you'd known all this time would just up and vanish without leaving you any news at all.
Then imagine that after worrying about them endlessly you finally receive word. "Oh, I'm fine I've been busy. Thanks for your concern". That's good news you're thinking, right? Sure, good news they're ok we can just assume that point. But where's the apology? Where's the explanation? "Busy? Oh, that's fine then"
At this point you're slightly miffed that they could just abandon you and then not seem to have any empathy regarding their absence. And wait, what's this? They've gone AWOL yet again? Well we'll just send them an email you're thinking? Good luck with that, doesn't seem to be any response from emails, doesn't seem to be any response at all!
Now rack your brains, did you do anything to offend them? Did you say something you shouldn't have? But then it's not just you their not talking to is it, they seem to have lost contact with anyone you know that knows them. This again starts the worrying, are they ok? Have they had some kind of accident?! Oh wait, there they are! Oh, and they've gone again!
At least we know they're ok now. The only problem now is you're no doubt wondering why they're not getting in contact with you. After being such close friends they can discard you that easily? Seems rather confusing if you ask me.
Gradually this person spends less time "appearing" you're starting to wonder if you're going to see them ever again. How are you going to cope with this? Do you feel that initial worry turning to anger? That anger turning to confusion? Confusion to doubt, doubt to apathy? Are you starting to wonder where this is going to end? Will you ever get them out of your mind or are you doomed to have them haunt you forever?
Now you're at the point where you're not sure you want them to return. Now you feel that you're at a point where you're 'okay' with their absence. If they come back will you just be bitter towards them? If they come back will you just keep yourself from getting close again in case they decide to vanish once more?
What's the answer?

I've not actually moved house, after running out of time to find somewhere to live I persuaded the guy I was going to be moving in with to move into the place I was currently staying at... just in time too as somebody else was wanting to move in ^^;;
After a few hiccups we've finally got it sorted, hopefully, pending his application going through. I've had to pay for the whole rent this month >.<;
Anyway, on to the important part, internet xp In the process of finding a good deal so it may still be a few weeks before I'm back around the place. I can get online for 10 minutes a day to check emails but that's it, so if you wanna speak to me then you can always pop me a PM and I should be able to respond 3nodding
Ta ta for now, smell you all later whee

When people say "I could care less". That's the wrong saying, it's "I couldn't care less", if you could care less that implies that you do care in the first place, if you couldn't care less that implies you have absolutely no amount of 'care' so you don't care at all.
Also, moving sweatdrop Yes, I have to move yet again in the next few weeks... and so far I have nowhere to move to gonk
That's all I can think of for now, tune in at the same time... er, probably not the same time, same place though, for more of "What annoys Mouse" pirate

I've been asking myself lately what's keeping me coming to Gaia, and to be honest I'm finding it harder to come up with an answer sweatdrop Perhaps it's the lure of WoW, perhaps it's that all the people I used to chat with spend less time on Gaia? Perhaps they don't, perhaps I'm just not around enough to notice them >.<;
I just feel that I can't be bothered to post anymore, I still come by, stay for a couple of minutes and then leave. I don't even have the urge to get new items or play the games. Maybe I'm going through my Gaian mid-life crisis xp
Bottom line is I just don't feel missed, if I fade into the background people'd still function perfectly fine and I can go lose myself in the battles of Azeroth.
*Fades a bit more into the background* ninja
