Uh.... A month and a few days later...
2PM was EXCELLENT. Well... sort of. Because going to New York for a night concert alone wasn't an option, I had to accommodate another person in my plans. Another person = more reasons to be late and for things not to go as planned. =( I love my friend to death, and it's not her fault that she wasn't as scream HOLYSHITINEEDTHISCONCERT scream like I was, but... she slowed me down considerably, and that kinda wasn't cool.
I planned for us to get to the venue around 9 in the morning and switch out with her to get us food, shop, entertain ourselves, etc. until the doors opened at 7 that evening. (Yeah, I know - but if you go to popular concerts often, you know how hardcore you have to be about it. Also take into consideration that the people performing NEVER appear in the US. So....the Kpop fans of the entire NewYork/New Jersey/Delaware/Pennsylvania area knew about it.)
biggrin smile neutral ....... gonk
What actually happened: my concert buddy didn't wake up until 11, didn't meet up with me until 1, and we made to NY around 4. The venue was a 3 minute walk from the station, so.... 9AM turned into 4PM. At which point, she wanted to shop for a minute, rather than stand in line. So....we got in line at 4:45. Nearly a block away from the doors. I'm not normally this ungrateful - and believe me, I'm happy I was in the building at all - but... we were only a block away. One BLOCK. Just knowing that if we had arrived that morning as planned I would have been one crowd-control marker away from a stage with the hottest boys on 2 legs.... It was enough to make me really grumpy and sulky wahmbulance . Even now, if I start thinking too much, I get pretty pissed about it. cheese_whine
2pm's performance was delicious heart , as per usual. As they were technically the opening act for the WonderGirls, they only did Without U, Heartbeat, 10 out of 10, I Hate You, and Again and Again. How did the WonderGirls do? I don't know. We left because concert buddy isn't into girl-groups at all. Honestly, I don't care for them much either, but I at least wanted to get my $50-worth out of the concert. So to add salt to THAT wound, a video showed up on youtube later that night with what? OH. 2PM signing autographs outside the venue after the concert. HURR HURR. I put a dent in my wall after seeing that one, lol.
Complaining aside, I'm glad I went at all - there was a whole week where I didn't have a travel buddy, so I am happy she came with me. If only the 'if only's didn't crowd my head so much. rolleyes
