As i sat on the stairs that led to an old, old building; i felt like time stood still. i listened to the sounds of the suburban area around me and the silence that followed it. all of a sudden i realized i had tuned everything out. all the other noises were gone...the only sound i heard was the clickty-clack, clickty-clack, of the train track that were next to the building. it was such a soothing sound. it almost put me to sleep. it has been a long time since i have felt that much at peace...
