So lately I have felt like a hypocrite because I've always bashed girls that tell their boyfriends that they love them within the first week. Well Monday, I finally got up the courage to ask out the guy I've liked for THREE YEARS and have been talking to for about a month, and he said yes later on in the day. Later that night, we were texting and he said, "I love you, Ashley." And he meant it. I'm his first girlfriend, and I'm usually careful with that word (due to the horrors and scars that are left on my heart due to my first boyfriend) and I knew that I had to be careful with him because if things didn't work out, he'd go off of what happened in our relationship. But he has no clue how long I've been waiting to hear him say that. So I said, "I love you, too, Jacob." (yes, his name is Jacob. Yes, my latin teacher makes fun of him saying that his name is Jacob but he looks like Edward. But no, he doesn't look anything like Jacob or Edward, he looks like himself, his ginger self) But back to the point, I feel like such a Hypocrite now but I can't help but to love him. We've known each other for so long, so it's not like I only knew him for a couple of days.
I want your feedback. Please comment.
Love, Ashley heart
