This isn't about gaia, so if that's what you thought it was about, go away. But I have a question for anyone whom thinks that they are awesome at what they do. For the people that feel that they meet every requirement required, how do you do it? How do you become the best, or in the top? Or perhaps your not, but shouldn't you be? I don't know, I think I'm just asking people this because I have nothing better to do at 11:30 at night, but it's a good question all in all. Every time I feel like I'm good at something, there's always a better, a better group, a better individual, a better something. And I can't take it anymore. I'm not the best at anything, at least, I don't think so. Every art project, there's someone better, every test, there's someone better. I'm always in second place, or third, or wherever the line that distinguishes over achievers from "pretty good but not the best" is, I'm always there. Why in this world do we have to over-achieve to achieve? Why is "C" standard, when at that point, teachers recommend you get help? Why can't "A" just be the new standard? I don't know, my mother always acts so happy when I get honor roll on report cards, but honestly, isn't that what she expected? For me to hold and maintain and "A" average? Wow, I really rambled, sorry bout that :. I just wish people didn't expect so much from me, only to come in second/ wherever that line is place. To put out so much effort, and only make a dent? It isn't fair, and no offense if you are one, but I wish over-achievers would go shove it. There's nothing wrong with meeting requirements.
