Alone. The world is a scary place when you’re alone. The silence screams in your ear, the darkness wraps its arms around you. No friends, no nothing. You began to question your existence. Your mind begins to flush out all emotions. All memories. Happy nor sad. Then a light breaks through the darkness. A hand extends to you, a warm smile greets you. You take his hand and smile back. The coldness, emptiness you feel begins to evaporate. You stand, and hold your hand in his. You then look towards the light. Slowly your begin to step towards it, each step you take, the more you take, all the pain, all the stress, all the suffering begin to decrease. You look up at him, and look into his eyes. You can see his spirit, his soul. Then all darkness is gone only light exists. "We will come for you." a voice said and then everything went black. _-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- My eyes shot open to the sound of my alarm clock only to tell me another day is soon to start and I should get up. I reached over to turn it, only to miss the switch. The alarm began to scream. My hand then turned into a fist and hit the machine, after a few moments the alarm became silent and didn’t show the time. I sat up from my bed and pulled my legs over the side. With a sigh, I pulled myself up and stood up. I walked over to my radio and turned it on. The d.j. began to speak about how the weather for the day was supposed to be, as always cloudy. I then looked over at my clothes thrown in a pile in the corner. I pulled on a pair of jeans and put on a simple black shirt. I walked over to the mirror to see how horrible i looked. Short brown hair, blue eyes, and gray underneath the eyes, (as always). I looked at my hair, only to be tangled from tossing and turning, of the night before. I grabbed my hair brush and began to brush out my hair looking at myself in the mirror silently. I looked down at my pants, torn from use, and my shoes, only to be hand-me downs. Scratch. Scratch. Scratch. I turned around towards the window which I havent opened yet. How can some make it on the roof of a 2-story house? i asked myself. I began to walk towards the window, not knowing what was on the other side. I opened the curtians trying to catch the intruder off guard, but there was nobody there, only a necklace and a note. I opened the window and looked around the window, but nobody was there. My hand grabbed the necklace and the note quickly while the other one closed just as quickly. The necklace was on a gold chain with a blue diamond as the charm. The sight was hypnotizing. Then my mind led to the note. I cautiously opened the note for only it to read: ~It is time!~ ~ be prepared~
